Vibrant Life Cozy Buddy Avocado Plush, Medium, Chew Level 3

I decided to wait to leave a review on this, because I wanted to see how long it would last. My dog has owned it for two months now and it is not torn up like the rest of her toys. She loves this avocado and it's pretty large in size so it's great for medium and large size dogs

Oohhhh this Vibrant Life Avocado is SO cute! It's BIG too! (see my pictures!) My dog is an English Mastiff, and he's very gentle with toys- so this one is holding up well so far! However, this is for 'medium' chewers and I think that seems accurate. My dog is super gentle- but I could see how other dogs I know that are heavier chewers could really rip this up, so be careful and monitor your pet's play. That being said, this is a very well-made toy! It's soft and stuffed well, good stitched seams, and in the front there is a 'crunchy' sounding material. It does have a squeaker inside- so cute! The colors are bright, and the little face on it is so adorable! It goes in the washing machine easy-peasy and I just let it air dry, if I can! Usually my dog wants it back as soon as I take it out of the washer! The size is good for for almost any dog- the smaller dogs may enjoy cuddling with it like a pillow, and a big 'uns, like my dog, may like to just carry it around in his mouth- it's big enough so I don't have to worry about him getting it all in his mouth (it's so much better than most normal-sized toys that my abnormally big boy might eat!) My dog usually takes a nap with his avacado! (there's a sentence I never imagined saying!) As with ANY toy, do keep an eye on your loved one when they're playing with it, and check toys regularly for rips or wear. Enjoy!

I can't believe how my dog carries this around with her and it's the same size as her! So cute! She loves this toy. It has a nice, solid, and sort of on the loud side "squeak". She carries this all over the place and it's so cute. I highly recommend this toy! It doesn't even shed or leave pieces all over the place. It's been 2 weeks and the toy hasn't been destroyed so this is a record for my dog.

This avocado toy is really big so its perfect for larger dogs. Its sturdy but it will come apart of your dog chews aggressively. It crinkles and squeaks which my dog loves so he will play fetch with this toy more than his non squeaker toys. So far he's only ripped a small hole in it so hopefully it will last.

My dogs love this large avacado. It's large and squishy. It crinkly and squeaky. My German Shepherd and Golden Retriever mix love it. They are lage dogs who are hard on toys. It's already filthy, but that's because they take it outside everyday. I definitely reccomend it.

The avocado is very large and is a great dog toy. We have labs and they typically chew on deer antlers rather than having stuffed toys. I did give our dog the avocado and he was so excited to get it in his mouth. The squeaker inside was a bonus and probably why he liked it. He literally grabbed it and ran off with it. Unfortunately with labs and them being chewers and a dog that will eat anything, this toy was chewed up within a matter of an hour or so with the stuffing coming out of it. I wasn't surprised but had hoped it would last longer than the first night! Our dog enjoyed it though and I'm sure as long as you have another breed of dog or a lab that doesn't chew much then you'll be safe.

If you have had dogs for any length of time, you know that often it is hard to come by a soft toy that is durable. This one is no exception. The internal squeaker feels durable and is deep inside, but that just makes our small dogs work even harder to get to it. But, at the same time, if this were an ultra-tough, thick fabric toy, our dogs wouldn't touch it, so it's kinda a lose-lose situation. That said, when we have new toys that they love, we know they won't last long and it becomes a game to see which dog will have stuffing strewn all over the floor first. Our youngest pup, Oliver, is in love with his new avocado friend. It's about half his size, but it's lightweight and very shakeable. It won't be long before we only have an avocado carcass left in their toy basket, but that's fine by us.

My daughter has a big baby American bully..aka pit bull. Lola loves soft toys. I picked this plush toy out just for her. When my daughter walked in the door with this soft toy in her hand Lola was there as if expecting its arrival. She took from my daughter and off she went to play. A week later the plushy needs a quick stitch job but Lola is happy!!

Vibrant Life Avocado Large Plush is defintely a good size dog toy. It is perfect for my medium to larger sized dogs. The fabric is soft and cuddly. The design of the avocado is adorable. The little smile and blushing cheeks are very appealing. It's a toy that is a bit unique looking. It's the first time I've ever seen one like it. The dogs absolutely love it. They chew it and tote it all over the house. My medium size dog likes to get the squeaker going on it. She can be a bit annoying but she really enjoys herself. I do not let them play with it together however. As far as them getting into a tug o' war, I try to discourage that because I am not sure the toy would hold up under those circumstances. The dogs can get quite carried away. The material is strong enough (at least so far) for one dog to play with it and chew on it without tearing it up. I do question whether it will continue to hold up or not if they get overly crazy with it. I mean to look at it, the toy does not appear to be super strong. Yet somehow it has not been torn apart thus far. It has really surprised me that it has held up so well to be honest. My dogs normally don't do that great with plush style toys. Must be stronger than it appears. Overall, an excellent and very cute toy. I do recommend it.

While listed as a moderate chew durability rating, this is really more like low to very low. It reminds me of state fair stuffed animals, and it did not last even one day. My small dog shredded it relatively quickly, and it was in small pieces everywhere. This might be a great cuddly toy, but it certainly won't withstand rougher play.
