I actually recommend this I'm actually using this for my birds because I got them a new cage and the dishes are not the right size to clip onto the side so I just put this in their cage for now for them to get food and water till i can figure out away ticket dishes on the side of their cage instead but for now they seem to be able to grip onto the sides and use this, however I do have a cat and three dogs to the dogs are little and if and when I'm done using this for the birds I could definitely wash this out and use it for my little dogs as well it's very sturdy the metal seems dirty and so do the dishes

My puppy constantly put his two front paws in his water bowl making a mess on the floor. I now fill his bowl half full and no more problems. No more doggy towels or mats. The stand is attractive and the stainless steel bowls were a game changer. I did buy him a kiddie pool which he is sure to enjoy this summer.

this was priced very good and is very sturdy! I bought this for my baby chicks I have 12 of them and they kept knocking over the balls I had and now they love to get up on the rack wire instead of there and eat instead of stand inside of the other bowls! it came so fast to me and I'm very impressed! thank you to the manufacturer, I'm going to order another one for my poodle she will love it!

The dog received this because I'm in a wheelchair and I don't want to stoop over any further than I have to. It's a cute design and at no point has it shown any inclination toward tipping as a 45 pound Dutch Shepherd uses it. There just seems to be something about the metal that irritates her in the food bowl. She will use her nose to push a lot of the food out of the bowl, and the other times will eat directly out of it. I'm not sure if it's her tags hitting the frame that bother her, but ultimately she eats fine. She laps water out of it with no concerns so perhaps I have a peculiar pup. What prompted me to purchase this particular set was the ability to buy extra bowls. I believe animals should have a fresh food and water bowl each day, just as we would expect as humans. It's very nice to be able to wash the other bowls while she has ones to use. It's also reasonably priced.

Seems like a great product but for me its to small for my 80 lb puppy. I bought it while we were on a trip. I saw it said raised and ss so bam I bought it thinking it would be full size. It is built well and looks good and we muddled our way through the trip with it . I just had to refill it 3 times.

Good size and cleaning is easy, which I liked. The metal frame is a bit thin, but it still felt sturdy enough. Unfortunately, the frame's design made it difficult for my dog to use comfortably. His legs/paws kept hitting the front part of the frame, so he had to stand farther back to eat. That made him stretch his neck out in a way that looked awkward and uncomfortable. I only used it for a few days before putting it aside because I did not want him eating in that position.

got this for my 15 yr old dog with poor vision who kept tipping over his bowl. worked great until he got his foot through the large heart shaped opening in the front and was rolling around on the floor with his leg trapped. good thing I was home at the time

The metal holder itself is a pretty good height, very sturdy but my one huge problem with it is my dog wears a collar with a name tag that hangs down and it gets caught while she's trying to eat… freaking her out, running, and dragging the whole metal part with her. I ended up having to tape it all with painters tape to cover the openings until she grows a little more for the next size feeding bowl.
