Vibrant Life Holiday Hooded Pet Sweater for Dogs, Favorite Child, Gray, Extra Large

What an adorable sweater. My dog can be tough to fit, but it's perfect. I will say it's not for really cold weather because it's very lightweight knit. It's good for my boy even in the house. That's where he will probably use it the most. I do wish they did not package it inside the way they did very damaging to some of the threads you need to be really careful. They have it stapled with plastic all over the place. I do like this brand they make many things and I haven't had problems with any of them

We live in Arizona, where it's 82° today but my 'favorote child' is cold. This sweater is thin, it's definitely not a heavy sweater so it's perfect. I purchased the sweater in a medium. My girl is a short, compact, stout girl - think of a meatball. She's 42 pounds so I purchased this sweater because the weight said 20-50 pounds. Around the neck (or maybe collar area) and chest area is tight. The chest area is fine, more snug like. I've attached some photos with my fingers under the fabric. I did have to make a small cut in the neck area to loosen the neck as I felt it was to tight. There's enough room to get her chubby little arms in and I feel like there's enough material across her back that her arms aren't being pulled up. I'm glad I didn't get the L size as it started at 50 pounds. It would have been loose and hung down her back past her butt. She has another sweater that fits in the chest but is long and hangs about an inch past her butt, so she continuously poops on the garment. My girl can't wear a neck collar because she has no neck really, but there is a small hole on her back, where you can out the leash ring through. If you use a neck collar and not a harness, that was thought out well. The hoodie is a tad small. It fits but it is tight. Keep in mind, my girl does have a bulbous head (AND what's important to point out her head is very small for an English Bulldog). I think any other dog would have a fine time with the hoodie. Overall I'd purchase this again but it wouldn't be good for me in a colder environment. I'd like to mention I haven't washed the sweater nor has she worn it for more than an hour. Because the sweater is thin, I am concerned to may not hold up or not wash well.

I bought two. One for my chihuahua and one for my little terrier mix and they both fit perfect. perfect fit and I think they'll really keep my dogs warm considering we live in Arizona in the Southwest part.

Fits true to size and washes up in cold water and lays out flat to dry. Only brand I've purchased for my dogs for years in xs

It was too small. Dog weighs about 14 pounds so that was disappointing and I returned. Might reorder a larger size. It's cute and I was surprised he was so good about checking the fit he doesn't really like clothes but sometimes they're a solution. Has a winter coat so sweater seemed smart. So if you think your dog is borderline on size order the larger size as it is a nice sweater.

Love the fit and it was very easy to put on him and he has arthritis so it was a plus love the little hood as well very cute knot wish it was a tad thicker which is why I gave it 4 stars

This might fit well on a dog. This is definitely not for cats. It's awkward for them to walk because of where the arm holes are. I really don't feel it wasn't made for a cat's body. I know all cats are built different, but I have three of varying shapes. It wasn't good for any of them. Other than that it's great quality. I love the designs, otherwise I wouldn't have purchased them. I honestly couldn't mark above if I recommended it because of it not fitting the cats, if it wasn't for that I would definitely recommend them.

size is way off. Bought the medium for my 35lb small.dog as stated on the description it is way to small.

Fell apart within 24 hours of wear. The fit was perfect but the material stripped apart into pieces of yarn within the first day of him wearing.
