This is the first dog collar that I have found that is not sharp where the collar is stitched together. This eliminates a possible irritation to the dog's neck. I will buy this one in the future.

My Morkie dog had this collar on for 5 minutes when he left my sight. I always keep a close eye on him because he only weighs 10 pounds. It's easy for a little dog to create big problems. Usually he loves wearing things he knows were purchased for him, but not this time. Phoenix, my little dog, allowed me to put the new collar on him. Then he ran off chasing my husband for a minute as he was going out. I called out to my dog but I had to go look for him. He was in the same room but hiding from me. I took him in my arms and saw that he was gagging on the collar, which was in his mouth and very tight across the back of his neck. I pulled it off over his head immediately! It's was only a couple of minutes and he was close to killing himself gagging on the collar. I guess it was uncomfortable for him, he normally wears a harness. If you use a collar for your dog, please be sure it has no room for the dog to get his jaw caught in it trying to remove it. I cannot recommend this style of dog collar from any vendor. If I had gone out with my husband, I would have come home to my little dog having strangled on this collar while trying to get it off. A collar I told him was a gift from me to him. Never again! No more collars. I've never have a problem with a harness. Thank you.
