The toy is great. The rod is decent. People who mention it breaking within mins is there fault tbh. My kitten is pretty strong and i try to not let the rod bend. She loves the bird and kicks her feet on it. Idk if its perfect for adult cats but for kittens its perfect for them. Just watch out for the feathers. Might come off. The bird and everything is in perfect shape even after scratching it and biting it.

This has turned out to be the best cat toy I have purchased for my cat, Tasha. I can tell when she comes to me whether she wants to go outside, or eat, or she is just bored. When she is bored, I spray inexpensive Meijer Catnip Spray a couple times on the toucan and a couple times on the tail. Then I sit in my comfy chair and wave the bird around for her to catch. She loves to grab it, hang on to it while I try to pull it away, and bite it. We play like that until I can tell she has had enough. I received it on September 22nd. Today is December 22nd. Incredibly, it is still in one piece and in good shape! If, when, it wears out, I will get another one. I sent one to my daughter for Christmas. She just added two kittens to her family.

Definitely worth it! My cat absolutely adores this product! We spend time everyday playing with it until he gets tired out. He loves the feathers on the end and even loves chewing on the stick once he catches it and refuses to let go! 😆 It has a just right dangle and is very colorful for kitties to eyeball and chase. Definitely recommend 10/10 for all kitties of any age...ours is 10 years old, but turns into a kitten with this toy!

Our cats love wands and it's fun to play with them using one. Our other way finally lost its feathers after a couple of years of use. When I went to replace it, I wanted something reasonably priced and colorful. This one hit the mark on both. It is super colorful with the 'parrot' and the long strands. Our cats loved it immediately and began playing with it even with us. Thus far it's help up under their assaults. If it finally tears apart, the cost will make replacing it easier.

My cats love us playing with them with toys like this. We have three and we take turns letting them catch it. The other two wait their turn with them all in a triangle. I like that the pole is long enough that I do not have to get close to the claws. They do not try to scratch but when you are having lots of fun and grabbing at the toy, it's not easy with the tiny ones. I buy a pack of toys mostly for the balls. They come with a feather thing to play with but the pole is 4-5" and that is too close for comfort. One good swipe and fun over. With this one, it's long enough for the fun to last for a good while before we all get tired.

I've never seen any cat go this crazy with a toy before! Our boy seems to really enjoy this toy. I now know what toy will be our go to wjen he tears this one up. Very satisfied.

both my cats loves playing with this wand, but after a few days the baton part snapped out of nowhere. one of my cats is a very active "flyer", a real gymnastic type so he can be kinda rough with his toys. the wand stem on this one is hollow, like a straw, with sharp plastic that is as thin as my fingernails can be. while i would recommend this toy for the bird %26 ribbons design, i cannot recommend on the basis of the whole thing due to the flimsy brittleness of the plastic stem.

I purchased the jellyfish (sister toy) and I'm impressed with it. However the Tucan fabric sheds strings terribly and it a choking and blockage to my cat. This toy IS NOT SAFE for you cat! Beware. Honestly Walmart needs to pull them off the shelf and refund my money. Again the jellyfish is safe.

First it wasn't even the toy I ordered. Secondly is broke within the first couple of minutes. The rod is NOT sturdy and bent on first use. Waste of money.
