Seriously, this chew toy is a life-saver! It saved my dog's life cuz we were about ready to muzzle him....he's a golden pit, half retriever and half pit bull. Those jaws!! OMS, they would rip, grind and tear thru every 'heavy chewer' product we tried, until stumbling on this ine at Walmart. I found in-store, but now only find it online. My fur baby Butters was a stray that landed on my front steps. This was the very first toy I got him in 2018. I had been searching for it since then. He had the toy down to shreds, he'd still play with 2/3s of it up until my dad ran the mower over it. I've bought other similar types of toys, but this one is amazing. I did have to modify it by taking out the rope, but he loves it with the shell alone. It isn't too heavy and has a blast playing catch with it on his own.

my dog loved this toy for years. So much so that I've been looking for another one for quite awhile. So glad to have found it. Watch for the rope to break and make sure you pull it out once it does. the rope is not good for digs intestines and can cause issues. Just discard the rope once it starts to come apart. my dog had the rubber part for 5 years and it was his favorite toy. finally the rubber aged enough he did manage to tear it up but 5 years for a toy, I'll take it. My dog is a golden retriever and not a heavy heavy chewer butbnot a light chewer either.

Very solid and strong even for a 70 lb lab and a Newfypoo playing tug of war. Great value for the price!!

great play toy, I would like it to be thicker so it does not fray easily and also the middle needs to be tougher for bigger dogs or they won't last long. but we are having fun with it

I have a German Shepard it's her only toy she likes. We throw it to her outside every morning and she loves to lay in the yard and chew on it. It definitely keeps her entertained!

We have a heavy chewer and it took our dog less than an hour chew off 1/2 the outside covering. Mind you it is thick rubber and has kept her entertained. Would I buy another - Yes! It keeps her busy and she loves fetching thus being interactive. Also it is larger than I thought it would be, which is a bonus for our large dog.

I read all the reviews before buying this toy for my 10 month old, 90 lb lab/boxer mix pup. He is definitely a chewer, and toys do not last long. Depending on the great reviews, though, I bought it. He loved the toy, but it didnt last 24 hours. He started shredding the rope until one knot came almost completely off AND he was able to tear a piece of the rubber off and tried to eat it. (Unsafe!) It went into the garbage after I took the photos. I gave 2 stars only because he liked it so much. This toy is NOT durable enough for a heavy chewer!

Destroyed in 10 minutes Broke up into a little rubber pieces definitely a choking hazard. My dog is good at destroying items but It never should have been that quick! When you get the item it looks like it's well-made clearly it's not
