it's not too big and definitely not too small. works well for our kitten. gives enough room for litter box, food and water and blanket/ bed. we use it as a night time enclosure for our kitten to sleep inside of while we're all sleeping. keeps her safe and she seems to enjoy it

I want to start by saying that I did not buy this for a dog. I recently took in a tiny orphaned kitten and needed an enclosure that would keep her safe but also let her experience the world. This kennel is PERFECT for that. She has enough room for her litter tray, her food and water bowls, a blanket, and several toys. As for dogs, I think this would be great for a retriever-sized dog who is already kennel trained. I know that I'm going to keep it once my kitten is big enough to be loose in the house because I live on the gulf coast and it'll be great in my hurricane kit. Seems to be it'd be great for the same thing for a dog who needs the comfort of a kennel!

I swear I ordered an extra small tent and got a medium but that’s okay. The popping up did startle me lol but it’s fine. I didn’t notice any plastic really. I didn’t get this for a dog but for my new kitten so she has a more comfortable space to sleep instead of a carrier (she’ll be an outside cat but for now is sleeping in the garage.) The cord that kept it closed was on nicely, though it quickly disappeared as the kitten seemed content to drag it off. My sister had a similar version to this for her porch and the kittens had liked it then too.

It is truly amazing that anything in such a small package could pop up to a decent size dog crate and still be sturdy enough to use daily if needed. We have a small dog under 15 pounds and this medium crate is ample for her, her toys, blankets, with a little extra space as well. When collapsed, it is about 1 foot diameter round. It is also extremely lightweight. This would pack very easily in a suitcase if needed to travel with it. The crate is made out of a lightweight, but very sturdy material, with mesh windows providing excellent ventilation on both sides of the crate and the front door. The front door has a nice zip closure which is robust enough to keep your pet safely inside. The material is also very easy to clean by simply wiping down with soap and water and it dries very quickly. We have been using it for about two weeks to keep our dog contained at times while workers were at our house. It was so easy to move the crate to different rooms each day. This has really been a game changer for us because normally we would set up a temporary pen for her. This crate is so much easier to pop up and move as needed, plus putting it away is a breeze.

My cats were fighting this week so I bought these to make them sit in the same room without attacking each other. (We’d had one when the one cat was little because she’d bite our feet all night.) they ended up making up by the time they arrived but decided to keep them anyway for misc purposes, and it was perfect because I was able to let them sit on the porch with me while I worked. It’s a great way to get them outside without worrying they’ll get into trouble.

I used the carrier for my cat not realizing it's for dogs. Just in case you decide to do the same, cats can escape from the zip up door. I haven't tried it with my dog so I am not sure if she could escape. They should add a latch or something to keep it shut in case your pet is an escape artist.I do currently use it as storage for my litter box which is shown in the photo.

Well Sammi didn't care for it at first but when Kitty wanted in it became a different story. He laid down with his back to Kitty and went to sleep. Kitty kept on and on and Sammi came out and Kitty took over. Kitty didn't want to leave it because she was afraid Sammi was gonna get in it. I think this is awesome for short term or if you are visiting someone and don't want to leave dog outside. It's well made and survived Kitty clawing it to death to get in.

It works very well and very sturdy! Problem is that there's no way to secure it in! No loops for a seat belt or nothing! It's gonna slide all over the seat so it defeats the purpose of calming her fears during travel! I tried tucking blankets in the front and tshirts in the back! We'll see but it looks trashy in my back seat now! Oh well we'll see if its stable enough to ride! : )

although its made with things to tie it down, there is nothing to tie it to and its so light and flimsy that my PUPPY flips it over and over when put in there nits also very easily to rip. When i first put him in he didn't like it and started to scratch he could very easily open it by clawing. i had to stand there to make sure that didn't happen which defeats the whole purpose. i am returning and buying a different one.

We have a new puppy and I bought this to travel 4 hours home. It is so flimsy the puppy lays down and it tips over, or worse, rolls. Our puppy only weighs about 10lbs, so not sure what animal or size this would even work for.
