Containing menthol and eucalyptus, it goes to work fast on relieving cough and cold symptoms. I also like that it really works on soothing aching joints and muscles. I highly recommend every household have this on hand, especially during cold and flu season.

Everyone likes Vicks Vapo Rub. The menthol medicated aroma brings back memories of Mom rubbing your chest and back to help you breathe more easily. It still works. As a 77 year old I put some in a hot wet cloth breathe in the medicated vapor several times and before bed no stuffy nose. I keep 3 jars in the house all the time.

helps relieve nasal congestion. Also using it as suggested by a podiatrist to help fight nail fungus., we will see how that goes

This item is good to use when you are aching, can use for all other things when comes to your body. congestion, scratchy throat, and etc.

been a fan since my mother would rub me down and than send me of to school. I use it frequently for chapped lips, nose , skin. Especially in cold weather!!!!

Vicks vapors is my GO TO whenever there's coughing or congestion. I love this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Vicks Vaporub since I was a child in the 70s. Over the years, I have relied on this product to help relieve cough and congestion when I am sick. The scent is comforting and nostalgic for me. I thought this would be a no brainer 5 star review because it is a longtime favorite of mine. However, while the active ingredients listed on the last jar I received are the same as my previous jar from several years ago, I noticed that the scent of the ointment is weaker and subtly different. It seemed a bit weaker after it was applied as well, but the difference wasn't as noticeable to me. I did some research and found some information online that says the inactive ingredients are what have been changed. The product still helped with my lingering cough from getting Covid recently, but I prefer the original scent and think it had a more powerful, uplifting effect. I really hope Vicks listens and brings back the old formula, but I do think I might have better luck getting my 7 year old son who dislikes anything "minty" to use this milder version.
