Setup was as easy as dropping a dab of peanut butter into the bait cup and placing the trap along a wall. No complicated mechanism, no setting required. The see-saw door design works exactly as described. We've had some recurring mouse issues in our basement and didn't want to use snap traps or poison because of our pets. We're honestly impressed with the results.
We live close to a greenbelt, and have lately had some issues with mice in our yard and garage. We also have a cat and dog in the house and yard that we want to keep safe. This trap claims that it can catch up to 4 mice safely. You place the bait inside the trap and it is supposed to lure the mice. So far, we have not seen any, but hoping this helps solve the problem!
This trap is easy to set so that a mouse is trapped and held. This trap is safe to set around children and pets so I'm comfortable using this in my home. The trap is easy to see through to determine if a mouse has been trapped and easy to allow the mouse loose when desired. The price is affordable and can be used humanely without messes.
The Catch & Hold Mouse Trap is a small, convenient, and affordable solution for dealing with unwanted rodents. Its compact design makes it easy to place in tight spaces like behind appliances or under sinks, while the catch-and-hold feature allows for humane, no-kill capture. It's simple to set up and reset, making it user-friendly even for first-time users. An ideal option for those looking for an effective, low-cost way to manage mice without using poisons or snap traps. Great for homes, garages, or small offices.
this is a no kill bait trap for mice. has a one way in door so they cant get out with a easy release hatch on the back side of product for releasing the mice away from where you caught them. put whatever bait to get them to go inside, I perfer peanut butter, and says it will hold up to 4 mouse but I check it often so never have gotten more than 1 at once with this trap but still works perfectly and ethically allows removal of the pests:)
This is an interesting trap. Took me a minute to figure it out. It says it can hold 4 mice. I've had it out for a few days and none yet. It is nice I don't have to worry about anyone stepping on the trap. Also it's easy to pick up and move if I do catch some and I won't have to touch the mice at all.
This mouse trap is easy to add bait and catch mice. I wasn't getting any interest with just peanut butter, so I threw in some bird seed and I got one. Gave the mouse a new home far away from mine. Top lid comes off for cleaning and adding bait or you can open the back door and add it there.
I love that this humanely catches mice so I don't have to have them killed. The back door makes it easy to put bait in it and have it set and ready to catch them. It's a pretty tight turn for the mice to make to get around the corner onto the other side, but they accumulate there. Opening it requires my hands to be somewhat near to where they will escape, which I wish they made a different way to let them out that doesn't require my hands right near the exit when I pop the lid off.
looked like a nice design, but at first use mouse chewed the plastic that separates the 2 chambers near the end of the pedal and was able to walk back out. I probably can't repair it to be able to use it successfully. I'll stick to the cube style that doesn't have any edges available to be chewed.
Both the description and the pricing show this is a two-pack. I ordered 3, assuming I would receive 6. When even the pricing shows there are 2, that is what any reasonable person would expect. Had I known these were single packs, I would have gotten more.
