I didn't realize how big this was until I picked it up. It's quite large and heavy, perfect for rats! It took me a minute to understand the directions, but after that set-up was a breeze. The kill bar has a very hard snap and holding power. I have caught a rat yet, but I know this will do the trick once one "takes the bait".

Although holding the spring mechanism in place while setting it does require a bit of finger strength, this is still the least expensive, most effective quick kill trap around. I place a 2 by 2 foot piece of plastic on the floor and put trap in the center for easier removal once the deed has been done. Buy a few of these----there's never just one who moves in. You can bet there's family close by.

The traps are great- they work as expected and are more effective and less expensive than more complicated options. This review is really for Walmart in general. This purchase was our first with the service and we found the offered price to be 35% cheaper than the local big box hardware store and about 15% cheaper than another large online seller. Delivery was free and completed within 12 hours. I'm sure we will be using Walmart for many of our future purchases.

Product is fine. I generally do not shop at Walmart, though, because the in store shopping experience is seldom good. Often too few cashiers, employees shopping online orders often block aisles, person at door makes me wait while they check items the cashier has already checked, etc, etc……

Definitely works - watch your fingers though, it's not easy set, so be careful setting it! We used peanut butter for bait and it worked pretty fast. Lg mouse/Sm rat (not sure if it's big enough for larger rats)? Would have given 4 stars, but it was advertised as a 4 Pack and I only received one trap. I probably wouldn't use it around pets or kids, but it's a cheap option that does the job

We have been having mice problems and it seems Victor is a big name brand for taking care of those problems. We chose this because it's a non poison option. I know that this is intended for "rats" but it should work for mice too. However, we have not had luck with this brand and these type of traps capturing any critters as it's intending to. I will update my review if possible if we do capture any with it.

WASTE OF MONEY - get the old metal trap instead. In the company's efforts to increase profits, it created a dangerous design. THESE PLASTIC YELLOW TRAPS ARE AWFUL. Setting them is near impossible (safely). Get the old metal traps - there is a reason they still make both - because people will buy these, throw them in the garbage, and then buy the metal ones.
