Victor Easy Set Mouse Trap 4 Pack Shelf Display

I recently bought for of these traps for evaluation purposes only. it seems that people either love these traps or hate them. For those that are having difficulty perhaps if they watched a few videos of how to set them they would find them easier to use. I've had no problems with them. I'm sure that there are better traps out there but probably more expensive. If a person catches 3 mice per trap I think they're paid for.

These are the only mouse traps that we will use. So easy to set up. I recommend putting a little dab of peanut butter on the cheese plate for a quick response.

We have used many different traps over the years , living in a rural area. These traps are by far THE best we have ever had. It is true that setting them is a little tricky, but once you have read the instructions (... yes there are those on the package.. :) ) you are guaranteed to catch them. I ended up setting my first one wrong, thinking who needs instructions for a mousetrap.... Lesson learned and am a happy customer. PS I went to buy some more but they were sold out at our local Wallmart!

Our friend got away and is probably laughing at me somewhere around the house!

When they work, they work great. But it's next to impossible to get them set -- the set bar isn't quite long enough to hook the plate properly and even if you manage to get it to set, it snaps the second you try to move it into position. Just plain frustrating.

Bought a four-pack. Spent one hour trying to set them without chopping off my fingers. Could only manage to set two barely. Too sensitive, no grip on the plastic plate. Could not even slide them to the wall once set without it going off. Useless. Buy the tomcat version at local hardware stores. Much easier.

I just threw my 4 pack in the garbage. Easy to set is slightly/very misleading.

These 'easy set' traps are trash. Brutal to set. Stupidest garbage advertising ever. DO NOT BUY THESE TRAPS. THEY ARE TERRIBLE AND DO NOT WORK. THE ONLY THING YOU WILL CATCH IS YOUR FINGER.

I have used Victor same trap many times and it always worked best. But for some reason, for last two three times, I bought set of 4 but setting them up is so challenging that I could not do it. Finally, I returned and now thinking what to use.

I set this trap and then kicked it down the stairs. When the loaded trap fell down the stairs, it did not go off. It was still set. The mouse is able to eat the bait without setting the trap off. Do not put your faith in this product.
