This product does exactly what it says it will - catch a mouse humanely for release off-site. Taking the bait door off was a pain on both of mine, and it took a week to get the mice using peanut butter as bait ... but they did the job. Cleaning them is also a pain, but they are reusable, which is great - and I'll be setting them back out just to make sure we got them all. Worth the money 100%.

I discovered I had a small family of mice in my house towards the end of winter. I do not like glue traps etc. to kill them so started getting the catch and release traps. On some brands the mice just chewed off the tabs holding the trap door open so didn't last long lol! Finally I believe I have caught them all and loved the ease in use, design and the fact that I could take the mice outside and let them go. Had to take them further and further away from my house as they kept trying to come back in! I guess country mice just like houses.

These Victor catch and release mouse traps would be my choice for primary mouse catching. They are small and can be tucked into little spaces. They clear she'll lets me check them for a mouse with just a glance. Setting and baiting them is easier than the traps that snap and kill the mice.

This mouse trap comes with very easy to understand instructions but also has a QR code for additional instructions. I like that it is a humane way to capture but not kill a mouse. I like to keep these in my garage in the winter when the mice like to try to find a warm place to borrow and also try to eat into my bag of bird seed.

Great trap for mice. They are very small traps. i have had the most luck by hiding the trap in a box or container. Once i got the hang of opening the back door to let the mouse go, and re-baiting the trap, it is very simple. I am getting 2 more of these traps.

I bought these BECAUSE of the bad reviews and because they're basically mini live traps and nothing has to die! I absolutely LOVE these little traps, they're just awesome! My dogs actually alerted me there was something so I sat a trap. Lifted release cover off n added a dap of peanut butter. Went to bed and woke up with a large mouse! Lifted cover outside, ran out, rinsed out n now reset! Easy to set, release, and rinse out. They're completely save around kids and pets, sanitary, contained, and reusable. Some reviews claim they were chewed through? Well nice can chew through glass too, that depends on how long you leave then sitting so those reviews are human error! Its fall and critters are on the move for food n shelter, nature itself. The traps are frosted clear, so it's easy to see when they've succeeded. They are a bit on the pricey side, but we like them enough to buy more to have on hand so….best traps ever made for mice. Highly recommend and the bad reviews….common sense is a virtue.

These are great little traps! They are humane and don't kill the mouse. They are extremely easy to set up and don't hurt if I accidentally trigger it on my finger. If the mouse has a long tail it may stick out the end under the flap, but it's not so aggressive that it would harm it.

I left my side door with a large gap on the bottom open on a sunny day. I know better. My cat woke me up at 4 a.m. crashing around the kitchen. I bought the trap, set it (don't even need instructions---easy!!). Had the mouse before bedtime. I released it the next a.m. No more messy, dead bodies to deal with. No more getting snapped trying to set a trap. !! I love this trap. AND I love that Walmart delivered this on the same day that I ordered it.

We gave these traps a try, because living in the country, we get the occasional mouse in the house. I don't mind using methods that kill the mice, but we have pets, so I worry about my pets getting hold of a snap trap. My daughter came and got me at 2:30 in the morning because a mouse had been trapped. However, the mouse, being a healthy adult mouse, had somehow managed to only get its tail caught. The door had swung shut on its tail, and the mouse's body was on the outside of the trap. I think it must have gone into the trap and eaten all the food, but it was too big for the door to shut until the mouse started to leave and got its tail stuck in the door.  My daughter woke up to our cat bringing not only the mouse but the entire stupid trap into her room. The mouse was alive and squeaking frantically, so my daughter chased the cat off and got me. At 2:30 in the morning, we were standing outside in our pajamas on the porch trying to get this tiny door open to free this mouse's tail. The whole time the mouse was squeaking and trying to bite every tool I used to try to push the door open. I was finally able to use some pliers and push the door open, and the mouse bolted off, only for a neighborhood cat to snatch it up immediately and run off with it. 😐🤦🏼‍♀️ This was a rotten situation for everybody involved, except for that second cat. She was the only winner tonight. 🏆  If a trap is going to be a humane trap, it needs to be big enough to safely catch whatever is going in it. I'm perfectly fine with using a snap trap and the mouse dying quickly, but I'm not real big on something being trapped and scared and in pain only to die a miserable death alittle while later. There's nothing humane about that. I will not use these traps again.
