Quick kill mouse trap

Kat October 23, 2019

Shipping was fast. All I can say is wow this product really works. Every fall I get a mouse in my basement. I set up trap that was easy to do and by the next morning I had it. I will have to get more. This are so great compared to the ones you had to set and hope you still had fingers later. Highly recommended

Mouse Traps

Laura October 27, 2019

Most important to me is that it's a quick kill. I don't like to kill anything, but the mice have to go, so the least I can do is get rid of them quickly. You can reuse these, if you want. I usually don't, but you can, and that makes them very inexpensive for a trap that works great.

No more smashed fingers

PenPen1959 October 24, 2019

Wow now I can set the traps myself without being so scared that they will smash my fingers off. What a genius idea to make these traps easy to put the bait in them and so easy to pull that bar into place but not so easy to pop it down like the old ones did. The only time I get mice is when my neighbor finally cuts his jungle of a back yard. I can happily tell everyone that these traps work because my neighbor cut his jungle yesterday I set the two traps last night and they worked. I am going get more today because I usually get about six to eight mice every time. Thanks Walmart for another great product.

Get those pesky mice with easy trap!

Semperfimommy2014 November 2, 2019

If you are used to the tried and true wooden mouse traps, these Victor quick kill Precision Strike Technology Mouse Traps are right up your alley! These are easy to set, easy to use, and best of all, are poison and chemical free! You can set these traps up with regular peanut butter, pull back the kill bar, and wait! These have a very effective closed-door trap chamber that when the mouse finds the peanut butter, will push up the door with their head, engaging the kill bar. In all honesty, I hate seeing dead mice or dealing with them in any way. But we used to have a horrible mouse problem at the house we used to rent and it made its way around our house, creating havoc in the carpeting, my kid's closets, in the kitchen, everywhere! This time around, I will be proactive in treating those little pesky creatures! I feel bad for killing them, but in all honesty (as well) this is pretty humane as you are not making them suffer. Releasing them back out into the yard just prolongs the time when they come back, so you might as well get rid of them before they create more problems! You do not even have to touch the mouse in order to get rid of them when caught, but you do have to see it (or let someone else do this step) and slowly lift the red kill bar with the small handle to release the mouse. Then, clean and repeat the process if you have any more mice in the house! This box comes with two traps, so you can catch two at a time if need be! I would suggest giving it a few days for the trap to be noticed and catch anything, but you will see when it has been successful so that is a good sign! It is disposable or reusable, so if you do not want to mess with the trap of releasing the mouse, you can just throw it away!

Very effective

TFA October 23, 2019

I received Victor 2-Pack Quick-Kill Mouse Trap. I have to agree with the name, this trap is a definite quick kill. I really appreciate how simple it is to set up and yet very effective. I like the fact that I don't have to witness the mice squirm in pain. I am highly pleased that no chemicals are involved. The disposal is very easy and I am able to use the trap over again. I truly recommend.

Cold weather necessity

valueme2 October 25, 2019

I'm familiar with the Victor name for rodent control but I must say these Quick-Kill Mouse Traps are the easiest traps for me to set without fear of getting my fingers hurt and the design makes using it just simply easy. One thing to always remember is it's important to always wear gloves when setting the traps to keep the 'human' scent off of the traps, but even more important to wear gloves when releasing a carcass from the trap to avoid disease and germs. Victor says you can dispose of or keep the traps, your choice, and if you do keep the traps, it's a good idea to wash off any uh, remains of the victim, and you can do that with just dish soap and water and let them dry. And again, remember to handle the traps with gloves on. I spent a bit of wasted time because I handled some traps without gloves and didn't catch a one. Those little critters are pretty smart and crafty themselves. The colder weather makes mouse trapping necessary in my area and I'll be putting these out in my mom's garage this year and monitoring them for her as well. I can't really say how good they are but I'm expecting them to do the job they're meant to do with good results, for me and my mom, not for the mice.

Kind of Creepy

swabelife October 23, 2019

WE dont have mice problems inside the house but Ive seen one along the shed every once in a while. I placed this outside and of the squirrels got caught. Good thing it was just a tip and it was able to free itself after it saw me walking towards it. I now placed it inside the shed so only the target will be targeted.

Not worth it.

amanda December 2, 2024

The mouse got all the peanut butter off one trap without getting caught. The trap went off but no mouse in it! The second trap I set had caught the mouse. But to my horror it was still alive! It's only caught by the arm. Now it's suffering. I buy snap traps so they don't suffer. Will definitely be going to get a different brand today that will kill on all sides of the trap, not just the red part. It's not like I can tell the mouse to come from the front!
