I love the concept very easy to use

ladyofclass10 May 16, 2019

I couldn't wait to try this Victor electronic rat trap!! It seems like a really great no mess alternative to the poisons and sticky glue traps. It seems more environmentally safe also which I really love. This trap can kill up to 50 rats, no that is awesome!! It is a nice size reminds me of a very upgraded rat motel. It is very simple and easy to use. It requires 4 c batteries which are not included, so I was alittle disappointed with that. It is a good product. I have small dogs so I made sure to place it in a spot where they can't easily get to it. This trap does not make a sound, it does have a blinking light to let you know it's working. I like that it doesn't have a sound. The unit will blink when it catches a rat also. It is very easy to set up, on one end there is a neat lit door so u can put the peanut butter in and the other side is open where the rodent can come in. I have had it up a few hours and haven't seen one yet. I like this product will make removing and catch rodents more easy and less messy to clean up. I would recommend to friends and family.

Caught 2 rats first 2 nights

chrisandsherry May 4, 2019

We have tried everything to kill the rats in our house. It sounds like our house is possessed at night with the rats running in our attic and will run from the living room to the kitchen. They were eating our food. We put 4 C batteries in it and caught a smaller rat the first night. You just see a tail hanging out. The second night, we woke up to a giant rat in the trap. We now keep it set up, just in case there are more. This thing is worth every penny and more! This is the only thing that worked to catch the rats in our house. Our peace of mind is worth the price at the least.

The Victor Electronic Rat Trap really works!!!!!!!

soso4real April 27, 2019

I received, the Victor Electronic Rat Trap, through the Sparks Reviewer program. I have to say I was undecided at first about the benefits of this product. The instructions suggest to placed the product up against the edge of a wall. It uses 4 c type batteries and flips the switch on top. The green light would flick quickly to show it's ready and on. The first two days NO rats caught and the bait was gone because the rats would eat it from the big holes at the rear where it is positioned. Took some duct tape and covered the holes at the back and it was on and poppin' for the next two days. This product caught four rats. I couldn't keep up. I didn't have to change the bait yet. Just add more bait if needed. The instructions state that the batteries are good for up to 50 kills. I have to say this thing works. I highly recommend the Victor Electronic Rat Trap. An excellent product.

Victor Electronic Rat Trap

Rahoe April 25, 2019

received this item from the Walmart Spark Review Program for no compensation - just an honest and unbiased review. Thank you The Victor Electronic Rat Trap was easy to set up – slide open the battery door on top – insert 4-C cell batteries, close the battery door, open bait trap and insert bait (peanut butter), close bait trap, turn switch on, set in location. Uses a high-voltage shock to kill the varmints. A green light flashes when the trap has killed a rodent. Timely received this trap as a rat/mouse just ate 2 holes into a plastic garbage can we store in the garage to house bird seed, and also chewed through the wiring on our hot tub. Haven't killed one yet – but easy to set up – safer than spring traps – just wish it was rated for outdoor use. Kills up to 50 rats on one set of batteries. Lid even slides off for easy disposal or cleaning!

Zapped

HamRadioCQDx May 3, 2019

Hello, the trap works like intended to. Seems to attract mice with the peanut butter. Had one that normal traps would not get and the Victor did. It is easy to set up and to clean out. If their is a short coming it is that it uses C batteries. Would prefer AA or D as don't normally have C's on hand. Will be interesting on how long the batteries last. If you don't like seeing the dead mice this is a good way to go.

big but useful

Ky13Mom April 30, 2019

I received the Victor electronic rat trap. I was very interested to try this product because honestly I do not like to see the mouse in a trap after it is caught. This thing is rather large and about the size of a brick, but not very heavy at all because it is all made of plastic. You open one end and apply the peanut butter bait so the mouse will go into it. Once in this unit he will get electrocuted. I think the downfall to this trap is the 4 C batteries needed. So factor that into the cost of the unit. But it says with the 4 batteries it can kill 50 mice, so that does seem like a lot. You insert the batteries and turn it on and that is it. Turn the top button to “on” and the unit has a short buzzing sound. Once a rodent is caught then the green light flashes for one week. When you catch a rodent you can dump him out or it says to pull the top back and the entire trap will be exposed. The only fear I would have is that he would get stuck to the plate and that might be a bad feature of it. Hopefully you can simply dumb him out of the trap all together and the rodent doesn't get stuck to the bottom plate. Maybe you do not have to see him as much in that instance.

Does its job if the rat is interested

HeyitsAmy April 30, 2019

Like this so much more than traditional traps. I get nervous with our kids around the open springs but this trap seems to be much safer. Im sure technically kids could put their fingers inside it and get shocked but we have strict rules not to touch this box! Did its job

Electronc Rat Trap

yellahammer May 9, 2019

after waiting many days for the rats to enter this trap finally something went into it. Surprise not a rat but a mouse. The rats were observed just sniffing around the trap but never going inside. The mouse ran around the inside of the box for quite awhile and then the squeaking begin and finally the electronic device must have triggered because the light came on and the mouse was dead so not at all mouse friendly. One wonders what would happen to a rat if it went in. I believe the rats around my home must have sensed the electronics within the trap is why they did not enter. I tried other baits besides peanut butter still to no avail so in my thoughts I would not recommend due to this it may be a good trap else where but at my place no.
