Victor Scent-Away Natural Rodent Repeller - 5 Pack

Placed scentaway rodent packs in my garage and, placed where I've seen droppings before, checked and found no more droppings. Strong scent of peppermint, that's what is keeping the rodents and spiders webs away. After the scent wears off, I'll add few drops of peppermint mint oil until I'm ready to discard. These scentaway rodent scent works. Smell great for humans as well.

you get 5 packages of these bags of seed like things, they are all individually wrapped, so you don't have to use them all at the same time. you can either place them in spots or there is a little ribbon you can tie to hang them in different places. it says it has a mint scent that keeps the mice away. and when you first open the little individual bags they have a strong smell. I placed one in my kitchen, but I recommend you place it in an open area for a couple hours before placing it indoors, the smell is overwhelming so you want it to air out for a little first or your house will have a strong mint smell. it says on the box that they last around a month. but I honestly don't know why you can't add more drops of oil to the package to give them a refresher. I definitely like this method verse the snap traps, I hate trying to set those up, and I placed this baggy in the bottom of my cabinet that has a lazy susan in it. a trap cannot go there, so this is perfect.

I'm very pleased with these scentaway rodent packs. I have not seen any rodents, but I already know this product works; the peppermint scent is SO STRONG! Many critters are averse to peppermint, and the moment you take one of these bags out of its wrapping, the scent hits your nose hard! I can only imagine how strong it must smell to a mouse or a rat. It's basically made of corn and peppermint oil-- very simple, but can't go wrong with all natural ingredients when they work! I tossed one bag near an area that I know rodents have come through before, and I also tossed a couple of bags up in my attic near the vents. It's said that they last 30 days, so I'll replace them then, but a pack of 5 will definitely last me. I think it will be most useful this fall when mice are looking for warm places to live for the winter. This product is a great solution for avoiding trapping or killing. Sometimes, we just want to repel mice, not trap or kill... just repel without leaving nasty/dangerous chemicals around your home. If you want SAFE, NATURAL, and EFFECTIVE, this is your product!!

Anytime the weather starts to turn cold you can rest assured that the mice will be looking for a place to be warm,well they have invaded my out buildings so this came in very hand sure not y,I do not have to fool with disposal all I need to do is bait trap they eat and go looking for water so good bye to the little pests ,be sure not to put where your pets can find it

I received the Victor Scent-Away Animal Repellent Pouch for Rodents 5 Pack for testing and opinion purposes. I initially got these to put in our RV as a preventative measure. We have a cat and I just don't like to use chemicals or poisons in such tight quarters and I do not want to use traps. I did not have a mouse problem, but have heard they could be a problem since you camp in the woods. lol They are like tea bags of potent mint smelling beads. I tucked them in any points I thought might be possible points of intrusion. They make the whole RV smell minty fresh! HAHA I have not seen any evidence of critters. Meanwhile, we DID have evidence of critters at home in our garage. So I actually got more to put out around in our garage. It was the start of cold weather, so this isn't unusual for them to start looking for a warmer home for the winter. I put them at the corners of my garage door where there are small gaps and in all the corners. It has been almost 2 weeks and there is no new evidence and I also put an almond in the middle of the floor to see if I got any takers. The nut is still there. However the scent is starting to fade, so I may need to replace them monthly to keep the critters out. But worth a try to keep the pests at bay.

This was so simple to use. I know they are recommended for small spaces, so I put three in my attic in the area of my AC coil units. The glue traps up there always seem to have mice stuck to them. I don't like the idea of that, so I'm hoping that this will repel them.

Since I have put the packs of scent away rodent in my basement I have not saw and rats, rat poop, are and bugs. I like the mint smell and the crazy thing about it isy cats will not even get around them. Now that the weather is getting colder we always have some rats come in from the woods but so far so good with the scentaway rodent bags. We will be getting more to keep those nasty rodents out.

If you do t like mint, you're going to hate these! If you do like it, you're I. Got a great because they are pooooooooo-tent! I have tried mint essential oils before and it didn't do a thing to keep the mice away but I'm giving this a shot anyway. It says to place or hang anywhere but I can't imagine hanging them will do any good since mice dont tend to fly lol but I did place them in areas where I've seen them come and go. So far the activity has maybe slowed but definitely has not stopped. A down side, my dogs also hate the scent. Overall I'm on the fence

I received this item for the purpose of review. I selected this item to help keep chipmunks away from downspouts and flowers. Sprinkled around the bases of plants outside and it seems to work well. Downside is that once it's wet, it's pretty well done. But it would also work inside if you have a problem with mice in your basement. We have a cat so I didn't want to use this inside. I made a little "sachet" by sprinkling some in some tulle fabric and tucking it in the corner of my deck boxes. I hope to keep the chipmunks away from that as well as my birdseed. I keep the deck boxes locked but who knows how critters get in. I will recommend it but keep in mind that it probably should be kept away from domestic pets. I used it only to keep the chipmunks from munching on my sunflowers. If it keeps them away, it will work for mice. Thanks Walmart!!!

This is a mint fragranced rodent repellant. It has been proven that rodents do not like the smell of mint so this is a plus. It will not kill the rodents rather deter them. These 5 individually packaged repellents can be layed flat or hung up. There is even a convenient string for hanging. They are to be used until the mint fragrance has disappeared. We do get mice because we have a large field behind us so I'm looking forward to Scent Away working! I only gave it 3 stars because I can't confirm the mint rodent repellant will work but I'm hopeful.
