Easy setup doesn't need wifi if you don't have any but it would trap if a rat was caught if you connect it through the app. works great got one the first night
Even though my wifi isn't strong enough to engage smart features, it works great with rechargeable batteries and i got my 1st electric shock kill the 1st night used!
Works. Batteries need to be fully charged to “eliminate” mice, so reachable batteries are highly recommended. Associated app is simple %26 straight forward, but leaves plenty to be desired. I felt as if my Wi-Fi network could be compromised through this app. One does NOT need to use the app with this product. Although, it's the reason one would buy this particular model; to have a notification of a catch delivered to one's phone. Product is recommended.
It's a great concept, but it was discontinued by Victor and is no longer supported. Can't stay connected to Wi-Fi and since they are not supporting it, there is going to be no firmware fix. It really probably shouldn't be sold anymore or this should be disclosed. I hope someone comes out with one that works though because it's a great idea for crawl spaces or areas you might not check much.
I purchased a trap because of the Wi-Fi but the Wi-Fi button on the trap did not work. I called the Victor company and they assisted me in trying to hook the wi-Fi but it still didn't work so he eventually told me to box it back up and take it to Walmart for a full refund. Thank you Walmart. You're the best.
1 star would give less. Got it for a friend went through 2 it worked good at first but after a few it quits. You can watch them go in eat and come right back out. Would NOT recommend this product. You would have better luck with a sling shot and a rock. Wont buy again. Go to lowes and get more for your buck!
total garbage. it drains the batteries in about 2 days. it never warns about it either. it mist be some extremely buggy firmware, but there is no otpion to report bugs or anything like that. as it stands, it is entirely and utterly unusable.
it never connected to any network. the trap didn't work. I didn't even get to use it wasted my money
Item is literally two months old and quit working. Brand new batteries installed. Evidence a rat has gotten into the peanut butter but no kill.
Doesn't work, wofi setup doesn't work no matter what. Gimmick.
