Lightweight and, easy to Bluetooth to speakers. Can play records for 9 hours on a single charge. Sounds a lot better than I anticipated especially for the size and price. I'm enjoying it a lot
I have had this for about a year. I take it on our trips with some records for us. I also use it to test out thrift records etc. For the money you get a lot. At first I was Leary of the winstar plastic turntable used in many suitcase players. It's been completely fine and even came with a very nice heavy rubber platter mat. The unit comes with a very good 3600L cartridge. It tracks at 3.5 Grams and also has factory set side bias or more commonly called anti-skate. The sound is rich and has bass that satisfies. The battery lasted me about 10 hours. This unit has RCA built in preamp outputs to hook to an external speaker or stereo input. You can stream to your Bluetooth speakers OR you can stream to the Revolution and use it as a long running on battery BT speaker. I recommend this to anyone. It's a good product. At least the one I got has been. Only con is the plastic top is very thin. No problem so far however.
great gift dor my tween daughter to use as a first intro to records
I love the sound quality and the portability. The rechargeable battery is a great idea. But I've had three. The first one worked great so I ordered a second one. It also worked great. I gave the 2nd one away to my niece for her college graduation and ordered a third. The third one showed charging and then the charge light turned off. When I unplugged and tried to use it, it was dead. I tried all kinds of trouble shooting and it will not turn on via battery OR being plugged in. I would have accepted the plugged in option but out of the box it has never worked. Then, two days later, the original one that I got did the exact same thing after charging. It just died and will not turn on anymore, even when plugged in. I used the charger cord that it came with so that should not have been a problem. I had originally recommended it to a friend who ordered one and the exact same thing happened. The record player charged bit never turned on even while using the plug in option. So, is in my experience, as much as I really do LOVE this record player, with only one in four working ( and there is no telling when my nieces will die, if it does) I can't recommend this turntable. It's disappointing because it is so versatile, unique, and has such a great sound.
Wish wish wish I could love this record player, I got it as a gift from my husband and it worked beautifully for the first year. Into the second year I keep having problems with the needle, I've replaced it 5 times. FIVE TIMES. And it will play for an hour and go back to saying I need to replace the needle. Really disappointed, I would say go for the more quality record players.
Would not power up and battery would not charge. The build tag on the back of the unit states it was built in 2022. Obviously the non replaceable rechargeable battery has a short shelf life. As someone with a 30 year plus career in quality control I was shocked that they would ship a unit that has sat on a shelf for four years instead of ship a new one. This one is getting returned and I'm not ordering another.
Never worked as a rechargeable unit. Turntable motor goes out with normal use probably intensified by 180 gram lps
I am beyond frustrated with this product. I really wanted to love the Victrola Revolution Go because of its design and portability, but the quality control is nonexistent. This is the second unit I have purchased, and both arrived with a dead battery. Just like the first one, the charging light turns red for a second and then disappears. The battery refuses to take a charge, meaning the "portable" record player only works if it's plugged into a wall socket. It seems there is a serious issue with the lithium batteries sitting in stock for too long. I've now spent time and money on two different units, and both are essentially paperweights. I don't want to return it for a third time; I want a product that actually works. Victrola, please reach out and provide a real solution for this known issue. Buyers, beware of the battery problems.
this app also is not allowing me to attach the pictures although I made them low resolution. first thing I noticed when I received this package was the sound of pieces rattling inside. I found a chunk of metal and a plastic piece in the box and another chunk of metal in the turntable. I have no idea where these go. the cover to the turntable is super cheap plastic. the pieces that hold the strap can't be trusted to make this portable. I'm really disappointed in the quality from this company. we previously had a no-name brand that cost much less and was much better quality.
I really wish I could love this turntable, but I had a problem with the first unit. I returned it and the second one came with the same problem. It doesn't keep the spinning speed. Since December, I had to adjust the motor speed many times, already installed a new motor and didn't solved the problem. it specially happens when you change from common lp's to 180g lp's. On 180g it starts spinning in one speed and during the same side playing it starts becoming slow. To complete, I bought it in US and brought it to my home in Brazil, that doesn't have Victrola support. So, you can imagine how sad I am with the purchase
