Overall I like ViewSonic Monitors. I have one and needed another. This worked well except for the speakers on the Monitor would not play very much. I turned up the volume on the Monitor and the volume on my PC full blast and it was about a level 2 of loudness. I plugged in my external speakers and was blasted out. My sound card is working very well. I called ViewSonic and they agreed there is a problem and they are replacing this Monitor under Warranty as it is within 30 days of when first purchased from Walmart.com. ViewSonic has very good Monitors and other products. I still highly recommend them to anyone who needs a Monitor or other peripheral deivce.
The monitor was a breeze to set up. Unplug the old one, and put this monitor in it's place. Powered it on and loved the bright color and clarity. And it's a ViewSonic. A trusted name in monitors. I'm happy with it. Not using it for games but just for Word processing and videos. It has several resolutions to set. The 1910 X 1080 is very nice. Haven't used it for a full day, most of the time we spend 4 hours on the PC. Haven't used it much but I'm sure with my first impressions, it will fulfill the need.
Excellent product. Slim, bright, sharp, good contrast. It would be nice if it had an HDMI port, but the DVI/HDMI converter does the job. I don't use the speakers. They're a nice-to-have, for people who don't have any other way to play sound, but I use a headset that's connected directly to the computer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is perfect for my second monitor in my upgraded WFH office. It was missing the VGA cord (but not much of an issue because I was planning on buying HDMI anyway) and instructions (again, not much of an issue because the base is easy enough to figure out how to snap in place.)
The directions were minimal. There is a small piece that goes in the bracket to hold up the monitor. It took a while to figure out how it fit. I Still don't know why I needed the piece. It is heavier than my last monitor. (22 inches). I had to get a heavier shelf to put it on. The graphics are great.
The product was great, the shipping got lost and took a tour around the country but we did eventually get it in good shape.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this reasonably priced monitor! I have 2 stacked vertically, for my home office. I didn't give it 5 stars only because I'd like to have a remote (can be tough to navigate the manual settings on the monitor) and that I can't better match the color between my 2 monitors as one is hooked up with an HDMI and the other is VGA since my laptop's docking station is limited so the extended view with diff color is off.
We bought this for our office manager to use with the added need for occasional Zoom meetings with our clients and to replace a very old small I-Inc monitor. The I-Inc monitor also has built in speaker @ 2x2w. When we hooked it up we were very please with the picture. easy to set up but could use better instructions on how. A remote would be very helpful. We proceeded to hook up the web cam and try a quick zoom meeting. The speakers are horrible. They say 2.5w x 2 but the sound was at best 50% of what we get on the older monitor not to mention sounding like a string between two tin cans. The person we called had to raise their voice for us to hear. Desk space is a premium so external speakers are not an option. Boxing it up to send back.
I was looking to replace a 10+ year old LCD monitor and Viewsonic was one I had used back when tube monitors were the thing. Aside from a decent design and brightness, I was very disappointed to see image 'ghosting' or blurring in nearly all uses. From scrolling website articles to light gaming, it seemed like a noticeable blur or trailing was present with any movement. I tried many different settings on the monitor and computer as well as tried different HDMI cables - all to no avail. The old monitor I was using did not have this issue, so it is pretty sad and surprising to see such obvious issues in a much newer product. I should have heeded other reviews that mentioned this blurry effect, but I did not think it would be as pronounced as it was. With regard to sound quality, while I understand built-in speakers are not meant to blow you away, the quality of those in this monitor is very poor - not immersive or robust in any way. I returned this monitor and will look elsewhere. Disappointed!
Beware of doing business with Beach Audio. Not only was this delivered late, but it was also not new! The box had been re-taped so poorly that they covered the carrying handle. It's on its way back
