Beautiful glass panel

Lauri April 9, 2025

We chose this over many other doors because of it size and shape. Chose for use of 2 hinges rather than a full length hinge. Took two handy men to install in about 30 minutes, proper wood blocking is essential. End result is a classy new bathroom without the ugly shower curtain and rod.

Glass shower/tub door

Our new bath January 18, 2021

The door was installed with not too much difficulty. It's definitely a procedure requiring 2 people. Excellent design. I had to concoct a drip guard on the inside at the bottom of the slider as water was dripping out onto the tub ledge when the door was closed. try to install the slider as close to the inside wall of the tub so that water drips down into the tub (we did not want to use the included metal bar, for stopping the drip, as it could be a tripping hazard.). If cutting down the main support rod, make sure you cut the correct side (the slider door side) as one side must not be cut (as it is designed to hold the fixed/non-sliding glass door).

Vigo Orion bathtub door

Dean 1 September 25, 2020

The door is very nice and does a good job ...my only concern is that it doesn't come with some kind of stop to keep the door from over extending against the hinges into the tub which would damage the door. I used a barn door floor guide and double sided tape.

Beautiful door

Dante August 10, 2021

This door is beautiful. It's heavy duty, modern and classy. It makes my bathroom complete and look very spa like. It is so solid! This door could compete with any custom made doors and costs less money! I love it!

Elegant, stylish and almost invisible

Teddy May 24, 2021

Perfect alternative to a shower curtain...pristine clear glass, smoothly balanced hinges, quality fittings, goes very well with stone tile. Virtually invisible and really bounces light around the whole bathroom. Doesn't intrude as it's only 34” inches wide, unlike full bath enclosures. Extremely pleased with it.

Great Product for the $ !

jpdiy June 2, 2021

I was originally going to either diy frameless sliding doors, or have them professionally installed, but I hate the limited access of sliders and didnt want all that extra glass to clean. Not to mention having them pro installed would have cost 5 times more than this door (diy'd). This door looks great and at a fraction of the cost! The install wasn't bad, but you do need to be somewhat handy to tackle this, and the instructions werent great. I read several reviews for pointers before attempting. I marked my plumb line on wall ahead of time with painters tape which proved helpful. My only install complaint was that directions instructed to put side seal and hinges on door before propping door up to mark hinge holes, the side seal made this tricky. Had a friend holding the door and because the side seal was obstructing he had to hold door about 75% open for me to be able to get a pencil into the hinge holes to mark. As others wrote - the provided screws are a joke...1 5/8" long?? And plastic wall anchors to boot? That's a recipe for disaster. The only must I think Vigo should fix. Hinges ~3/16" thick + 1" (tile, thinset & backerboard) almost 1.5" of material to get through for most folks...I used #10 3" stainless steel screws (fluted heads fit perfectly into recessed holes), and did without the provided screw covers. Tip - watch Pan the Organizer's youtube vid on keeping glass shower doors clean, works well and cheap approach. Pros: Great look at a very affordable price. Cons: Provided screws Seeing that the door is only a single panel, the shower is no longer quite the turkish steam bath that my wife likes, but it holds enough heat that its not cold. Single panel also allows for some splash out onto floor and our bathroom entry door which is right at end of tub. Time will tell if this will be an issue.

Solid, beautiful door!

Cuddles808 March 20, 2019

We renovated our master bath and added a shower to our 42” x 72” whirlpool tub. We bought this door because it looked very nice and would be less intrusive while taking a bath. We could not be more pleased. This is a very sturdy door and we expect it to last us a long, long time.

Beautiful Shower Door

John L August 7, 2020

The shower door was purchased to enhance and allow use of a master shower. I rated it four out five stars for reasons other than overall quality, design and appearance when installed. The engineering could use some enhancements such as the lower glide having a full nylon or plastic insert covering the entire chromed metal to ensure silence of the glide door when operating. The stationary door adjustments on the support bar could allow slightly more alignment adjustment just for additional give in out of plum applications. The stationary panel should be sealed on the bottom with silicone prior to the sliding door installation to ensure caulk can be properly applied without use of a nozzle extension. The installation instructions should be in one language for an entire installation and not have four paragraphs in the same instruction section each in different languages.

Simple & Elegant

Reno Novice August 20, 2020

Love the simple and elegant look and concept of this product. The overall quality of the glass/workmanship seems really solid. Really enjoy having a bath now without feeling claustrophobic behind a pair of framed sliding glass doors. Would agree with previous comment that the towel bar chrome colour does not quite match the hinges, but that's a minor quibble. My contractor used longer screws and anchors than were provided, for a stronger install. Will need to be a dedicated squeegee user, to maintain the spotless glass look. Also, just like in hotels where they often use this cool shower door style, I find water collects along the bottom of the seal strip, and some of it dribbles out and down the side of the tub when you swing the door open after showering, even if you try to dry off along the bottom of the door with a towel before opening. Hopefully one day they'll come up with a seal/strip design that resolves this. I also wish the door was perhaps slightly wider, as even with a rain shower head, some water splashes out onto the floor where the door ends, though simply placing a small towel on the exposed tub edge where the door ends, takes care of this. Requires some maintenance, but well worth the effort, and overall am very happy with this product.

Rialto Bathtub Door

Deberific August 14, 2017

We had a lot of problems installing the door since there was no studs behind the tile where we were putting the hinges. The door itself once it is installed is gorgeous and I love it! The Antique Rubbed Bronze was beautiful and matched all our other faucets and bathroom accessories.
