Viking Revolution - Shaving Soap for Men - 4 Variety Pack, 2.5oz

Shipped and arrived quickly. Lets you try out different scents without breaking the bank if you don't like it. They are not heavily scented or overbearing, and the selection of scents are mostly what I'd never try but I do like all four of them. To get the most as a shaving soap, put the puck in a ceramic shaving bowl and microwave for 20 seconds and let it cool to a solid state. Melts quickly. It's easier to work up a lather this way and you'll use every bit of the soap. Lathers and shaves well. I will purchase their other four pack for some different scents. I only wish the pucks were a bit larger (thicker).

Husband says it doesn't lather very well. We ordered this because he didn't like the one he had - because it didn't lather either. Going to look for something that lathers up better.

For the money and the value , yes I'd recommend! Works well and lathers good. As far as aroma goes, it's not as good as some but not bad. Only on the first one so maybe I'll like the others more? They'll last for a while until I decide to purchase again or pursue others?

I have only used one so far, the white one, which has no smell. I think it's sandalwood, but the lather is good, and it is pretty smooth to apply to the skin.

I do not suffer from fashion fan boy syndrome and have to be manscaped. I am a 53 year old man who was permanently disabled from a work injury that collapsed one lung, infected my spine, and almost killed me with septic shock twice. That means I have limited mobility, and my hands shake, so I need a soap that will lather, not be too slippery, and soften up my premature white, thick almost copper wire hardness, hair. It's only on my face. You know, that hair that dulls 5 blade disposables in one pass, laughs at the best Soligen German steel straight razors, and bogs down and ruins the best electric shavers. I have been using these soap pucks for several years, mostly because they are the cheapest, even cheaper than buying a can of shave foam, they smell good, they do not irritate my skin, soften my hair in luke warm water dastly, and provides just enough lubricant without turning my face into an oil slick. I can use my straight razor or one of my safety razors with Gillette Astra blades and have a smooth face in about a minutes time with anu of these 4 Viking soap pucks. I will use them until I can't shave anymore.

I ordered 4 but only got 3. I still need a fourth one.

Very nice product. Works so much better than aerosol cans of shaving cream. Gives you a close, clean shave.

I have been wet shaving for a long time now. And in all that time have used Van Der Hagen puck soap. This is the different first puck soap I have tried. I like it. Nice creamy thick lather. Leaves my face feeling comfortable after, even without aftershave!

It helps keep my face moist shaving.

I wish you would have discovered shaving soap years ago. I’m very pleased with it. Makes me feel fresh makes me want to shave more often. It is very worth it.
