Decent chain saw pole for the money. Pretty well made. Decent price. Not as good as my Remmington electric pole saw, but I needed one that didn't require extension cords. All in all this is a good pole saw for the money. What I don't like about it is the guard on the top of the chain, because sometimes an undercut is needed and the guard will not allow an undercut to b made. And I don't like that the saw attaches to the pole only by sliding it into the plastic they use to hold it on. I'm afraid if the pole is dropped, the plastic connection will shatter into pieces. My Remmington uses 2 long nuts and bolts to attach the saw to the pole which is a much stronger connection. All mfg's. make their products a specific way, so I guess you buy it or you don't. I just don't see the plastic slot as being a very strong or secure way to attach the saw to the pole. However, it does have a plastic lock, so hopefully it'll be ok (unless it gets dropped.) It's fairly heavy, especially when fully extended (which all chain saw poles are.) I would say that all in all, it's a good chain saw pole for the money. My electric pole saw had more power, but I got tired of dragging extension cords out all the time. I would recommend this chain saw pole for light to medium use around the home.
