The phone works great! It was a little confusing which phone plan I could use through Virgin Mobile as I didn't want a monthly phone bill. Instead of doing the setup online or on the phone, I called virgin mobile and used my $20 topup card for unlimited talk, 500 texts and unlimited usage on wifi only, no data available. This is perfect and exactly what I was looking for!!! Enjoy!!!
Bought the J3 Achieve as I use last years J3 Emerge. This is a significant upgrade to that of the previous J3. 2gb ram as opposed to 1.5gb ram. Cameras are better especially the face/front facing camera, wide angle accurate color, and decent low light performance compared the the narrow fov and grainy quality of the prior. Gaming, only tried PUBG Mobile. The Low
Upgrade from lg volt which i loved. Using virgin mobile and getting 4 bars where i previously got 2. Wish it was smaller but at least it's not the tablet most are carrying today.
Phone works great compared to high end phones I have had.
I really like this phone. When I got ready to purchase it, a pop-up on the order page said this device wouldn't work in my area. I'm not sure what that's all about. I was worried, but the phone works just fine. I'm not a phone junkie or one who keeps up with the latest phones. I had my HTC for three and a half years and would have kept it if it hadn't started to fizzle. I pretty much just want to call, text, and maybe look up something online. And this Samsung does that and so much more. I've already been able to add apps that I couldn't have added on my old phone. The only thing I haven't done is use the camera yet, so I can't say how good that is. But I'm really pleased with my purchase and look forward to several years of using this phone.
I purchased two of these phones. one to complete all tasks and for applications and another for phone calls and texts so that I need charge batteries less often. I enjoy the expndable memory with a micro sd card and have 32gb chips implanted in each. These are upgrades to my low income free service. I am very satisfied. However my only complaint is in the design of yje phone that the speaker is in the bottom but the microphone in the top right. It jist seems awkward and kinda goofy to have yo move back and forth that is all. My solution is wearing a pair of ear headphones corded and with a built in microphone.
I got this phone a month ago and I like how fast it operates. Internet and video speed is really good and sound quality when making phone calls is excellent. The only downside I find with it is that the memory for apps is extremely low. And you can't move apps to an sd card. I hope they will fix this in the future. Otherwise that, this is a good little phone.
I was so excited about getting this phone, but when I got it I couldn't activate the phone. I tried to activate the phone on the Virgin Mobile website but was unable to, then I found out that this phone was locked to the Sprint Network ; so I tried to activate the phone on the Sprint website only to find out that was unable to be activated. Both me and my brother tried to activate the phone with no success. All I can guess is that it is a manufacturer defect, which can happen sometimes ; the manufacturer may have put the wrong SIM card into the phone I just don't know I guess it's just another case of you get what you pay for. LOL.
Ordered phone to be delivered to my house to open it and try to activate to have virgin mobile tell me that it needed to be scaned for it to be activated so now I'll have to go to Walmart hope they accept my email receipt and hope they scan it on other hand it seen to be a good phone but haven't truly been able to use it outside of Wi-Fi range idk what happened all's I know it if you ship it to someone's house shouldn't it already be scaned?
I ordered this phone online and I had a lot of trouble getting it activated. The phone has a different serial number than the box. Come to find out it was purchased at best buy and returned to walmart.
