this bike is packaged securely and was easy to assemble I've had so many compliments on how nice it is and how much did it cost? definitely a conversation kinda bike. it took some getting adjusted to and now I look forward to my daily ride and is very convenient and comfortable. i highly recommend the viribus trike.
I ordered this for my husband. Everything needed was in the box. Nothing was missing. It took about 3 hours to put it together. He loves it so far.
For the price this bike is very good. Instructions could have been better at rear frame attaching to the main frame.
I am fairly confident doing bicycle assembly so it went fairly smoothly...some small plastic parts were not listed in instructions though.
The trikes are beautiful, but they do not feel very sturdy. The seats tend to move regardless of how tight you get them. and there isnt much space between knees and handlebars. The tires will not stay inflated and we have to air up before wach ride. maybe i should have went with a singke speed, but the 7 speed trike is not a smooth ride.
Nice Bike, requires a bit of knowledge to put together, as there is some screws and bolts that are provided just for aligning the main frames together, but must be removed afterward. No mention of that in the guide, nor in the video online. It just makes sense if you are already used to building bike. The tools provided for the assembly are not enough, you need a good set of ratchet wrench and millimeters hex nut to tighten this one properly. Got a 60% off, so the value is definitely there. However, I would be very displeased if I paid full price, the rear fenders are really flimsy and the rear basket attachment needs a bit of redesign, it will wear out and break over time if it's too tightly installed, and move easily if it's not. The rear brake are factory installed and are a disaster, the brake mechanism is offset and moves the disk instead of the pad, I had to disassemble and reconstruct from scratch to get it properly fixated. The front brake are installed during assembly and fit perfectly. If you don't mind a bit of work and know your way arounds tools and bike, this one might be a good fit. But for normal customer, I would consider a bike shop for assembling or find someone with these skillset before buying. This needs better QA at the factory and better design for the attachment. Also, what is the point of a dual chain if you distribute traction to only one wheel? Dual-chain typically comes with a distribution and a differential box, this one does not. So beware of that if dual-chain was a criteria. This one has 2 chain, but it's more to do with the mass production than actually any meaningful feature on this bike.
Poor quality...will not shift to lowest gear or highest gear. Unsteady on uneven surfaces, likely characteristic of trikes.
I really enjoyed the first 2 times I rode the trike. On my 3rd ride the trike would not move forward when pedaled. I also noticed that the gears would not shift properly. The problem is inside of the gear sprocket. (According to a bike shop technician). The seller (Growthrill) did not respond to my email. I did get a callback from a bike technician from the trike manufacturer (Viribus) but they were not able to determine the problem. I could not return it to my local Walmart. It had to be disassembled and shipped back to Growthrill. Taking it apart was even more difficult than putting it together. I am still waiting for my refund. The only positive thing was the free shipping by FedEx at my home.
Put everything together and unable to ride my bicycle still. The chain still slipping and don't know why because that was the one thing we didn't have to put together it came already put together. Paid a lot for this bike and still can't ride it since I've had it less then a month
This bike isn't for an adult. It is a very nice bike that comes in a box you have to build it yourself, the instructions are terrible however, if you know about bikes you should be fine. The problem with this bike is the leg space isn't enough for an adult and making a turn is impossible because your knees are in the way. It is a safety issue please be careful if you are over 5 feet
