[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so impressed with this scooter! Tested mostly by a 9 year old, this scooter passed with flying colors. It is well constructed and was very easy to put together. The scooter came with all of the tools necessary. We were up and running within 10 minutes of opening the box. The kickstand is probably my favorite feature as the scooter doesn't have to lay down when not in use. Tested on flat surfaces and inclines, the motor has enough power to go uphill without struggling. The side lights that indicate power are a great visual reminder if you left the power on by mistake. We were able to use the scooter for three days without recharging the battery. This review comes with a very enthusiastic thumbs up from both parent and child!

It is nice and it has a great get up and go it is super sharp looking. This will definitely be a scooter that will last for years. Over all this is a fun scooter and hours of fun. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids have had scooters in the past but this VIRO VR 550E is the best one I've ever seen. I couldn't believe how big it is and all the great features. It has the no slip skid material where my kid stands so his feet stay in place. The handles on the handlebar is the harder thicker rubber and not flimsy. I love that I can adjust the height of the handlebar so that each one of my older two kids can ride safely and that it has a kickstand so it doesn't fall to the ground when their done riding. The kids love the very bright ground effect lighting on the bottom of the scooter. Of course the kiddos love that it goes 10 mph and they can ride a long time on one charge. My son said the rear brakes work really well and doesn't jerk or anything and are super smooth. It's definitely kid & mom approved in this house!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sons who's 10 years old is so smitten by this electric scooter by Viro rides and love it as well ! Not only does it keep him happy but it's also quite sturdy and to be frank very safe and easy to ride. The brake once squeezed in (just like a bike brake) responds instantly and the button on the right handle to speed it up does not go lightening fast but at a safe and steady speed. My son mainly uses his scooter in the evening hours when we walk our dog and the safety lights on this scooter are ultra bright and visible from far distances. When we first received our scooter I charged it an entire 8 hours and my son used it 3x for approximately 70 minutes before this scooter began finally lost battery. From a parents point of view the battery life is pretty awesome on a full charge, it lasted a lot longer than I expected it would before having to recharge it. Overall this is most definitely a really fun and safe electric scooter for kids to ride wether experienced or not I found it user friendly.

This scooter was so easy to use after charging turn it on and your ready to go! It the breaks are within hand distance so it's easy to stop when you need to and it goes the perfect speed for bigger kids! It goes well on almost any surface including gravel and the weight capacity is large enough for bigger kids! The design is modern and the colors are bold! A great product for any kid of age!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the VIRO Rides VR 550E Electric Scooter a few weeks ago. The scooter is well made. The scooter it self was put together and all you need to do is attach handle and charge the battery. The charge time according to instructions is 10-12 hours. I charged the scooter overnight and was ready to go in the morning. The battery it self is inside the scooter. There is a plug that you put into the bottom of the scooter. Makes it's easy to charge the battery without having to remove a bunch of parts. The scooter it self is a bit heavy. The weight according to instructions is 30.45 lbs. Which for smaller children might be a bit for them to move them self's. The height of scooter is 36 inches. My son who is 8 easly can ride with no problems. The weight limit is 120 lbs. There is a kickstand that is very helpful to keep scooter upright. It's very easy to use kick stand with your foot. The added led lights on the bottom of scooter are a plus for night time. My son loves the lights. The tires are a solid plastic which is a plus. There is only one throttle button to make it go. And a hand brake to stop. But if you let go on throttle button it will stop moving. The scooter it self looks very well made and I hope will last a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] FIrst off, I'll say the VIRO Rides VR 550E Electric scooter is pretty heavy duty. It weighs around 30 lbs and is very well made. The scooter was super easy to put together. Took maybe 10 minutes. Make sure to fully charge it before using, which takes approximately 10-12 hours (comes with a charging cable). The scooter will go up to 10 mph and the battery time will last around 40 minutes. This scooter will work best on flat surfaces as the tires are a hard plastic material. My son is 8 and fits the scooter perfectly. The maximum weight limit according to the manual is 120 lbs. The main power switch is at the bottom of the scooter by the kickstand. When the power is on, there is a LED that lights up next to the power button. The throttle to "go" is a red button on the right handlebar. The left handlebar has the hand brake. Really pleased with this product. I think it's perfect for the 8 year old age range.

After a long week at work I was happy to see my Scooter was delivered to the door. It was a rainy weekend and the kids were pinned in side. The VIRO VR550E was begging to get out of the box. As you can see in the pictures it was packaged very well. The actual scooter box was packaged in an outside cardboard box for protection. When opening the scooter box you can also see how nice the scooter was protected and the power plug, user guide and assembly tools were easy to understand. The scooter was in two pieces but very easy to put together without even reading the directions. As you would guess the scooter had some charge in the battery from the MFG.. so yes I had to give it a spin. Given I am 200 plus and shouldn’t be on a scooter like this but it was very sturdy and you could feel the quality built into it. Quickly my kids were fighting to get to ride it. I put the scooter to charge so they would have a full charge to ride. As I walked out of the room I heard the scooter shoot across the room with my son on it.. that was how the rest of the weekend went at the house. The kids have it parked in the living room and ride it daily. The only negative we have about it is the location of the charger port. For the kids it’s very easy to plug in but for us older folks it requires getting down on the ground to find it. Over all this is a fun scooter and hours of fun to be had in the future. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The electric scooter is really fast. I didn't think it would be. The instructions say 10 mph but i can't really test that correctly, but it's quick. The LED lights are a cute touch and my son loves it. I personally am not a fan of the charging port. It's like 3 prong and i just can see kids getting frustrated and bending a prong trying to shove it in. So I'll have to watch and help them. It has a button style throttle and it's actually easy to handle. My kids love it. It was packaged nicely and easy to assemble. I love the blue.

I've ordered this product two times by the Walmart.ca and each time after 2-3 weeks waiting for delivery or pick up from store, I received cracked product. Both were cracked same spot at battery pack cover. Very disappointing especially when you did promise to your 8y son and everytime open a faulty product. Whether Walmart do the return but there wont be any compensate for weeks and times you waste in vain.
