Stunning on the counter and delicious coffee - my wife had swindled me into a Keurig and I finally had to tell her we were switching back to drip. Did the research, landed on the Melitta Vision and we could not be happier!

Great taste, simple and easy function, good looking. Its the best coffee machine I've used. The only thing I don't love is that one of the top lids hinges and the other doesn't. I'm just afraid I won't be paying attention and break the lid that's not connected. Other than that A+!

Since my 10 year old grinder built-in coffee maker with a stainless carafe finally broke, I was looking for the same style. However, I fell in love with Melitta Vision coffee maker so I gave it a try. Simple, Stylish, and Practical. I love my new coffee maker.

I'm in love with this coffee machine, the details were not spared in the creation of this machine, it brews a great cup of coffee and conveniently takes up little space on counter and I love that it can be arranged in many ways to accommodate space. Although this isn't mentioned in the description, I contacted a Melitta and the water tank is BPA free.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker has a very distinctive and elegant look about it. It looks right at home in my kitchen among my other black and stainless steel appliances. It was a flash of inspiration for the manufacturers to include a swivel dashboard, because it means I can position the coffee maker almost anywhere in the kitchen and have easy access to the controls. The controls for setting the time, the timer, whether to have bold or regular flavored coffee, and warm time, are very easy to understand. It took me a matter of minutes to break the coffee maker out of the box, clean the various components ready for use, and set up the controls. Four coffee filters are included to get you started. For me, a pause and serve system when brewing is imperative. I invariably want to pour myself a cup of coffee before the brewing cycle is completed. I also like the descaling indicator. I am not sure I have seen one of those before, but this is a good quality machine and so it is not therefore unexpected. I like the fact that two different heating systems are used to firstly brew the coffee, and the second one keeps it warm for whichever period of time you select up to a maximum of 120 minutes. I am most impressed with the versatility and elegance of this machine. Would highly recommend.

Pros: modern design, easy to use, makes fresh tasting coffee, and keeps warm without scorching. Rotating control pad allows for multiple options for placement on counters, bars, etc. Cons: condensation builds on the underside of the 2 glass lids so when the hinged lid (coffe basket side) is lifted water drips down on to base and counter. Glass lid for water reservoir is removable but also collects water condensation and drips. Reservoir design is fully covered by a plastic basket so it cannot be accessed or scrubbed clean on the inside. Will have to be diligent about vinegar rinsing to try to keep hard water or mold from accumulating.
