Everything about this product is fabulous. I especially like the little grill light... nice touch. Especially after pricing out other kamados, this grill just unbeatable. I absolutely love this thing and can't recommend it highly enough; it really has changed the way that I grill.
I bought this grill about 3 weeks ago and have used it at least six times already. It is amazing!! I did my research on all of the kamado type grills and easily found this to be the best value. I am amazed at how sturdy it is and how even it cooks. I really this this will last forever, it is that good. If you are in the market for a grill like I was, you can't beat this vision one.
This has to be my best grill/smoker this vision grill cooks everything amazing. Everyone is at awww when they see my grill in action. A must buy for any bbq enthusiast like my self.
Great grill however it is cheaper at Home Depot by $ 130.00 Walmart no longer price matches the one at Home Depot comes with a grill cover.
I got mine almost a year ago. I love it! It took my grilling/smoking game to the next level. Buy one if you can find one. Don't let the price discourage you, it's the best value out there for this type of pit. It's definitely a 5 star product, but I gave it 4 because there are a few things you need to be aware of before buying. This is not a set it and forget it grill. If you're smoking a pork butt or a brisket be prepared to stay up all night checking the temp. If you do want to smoke/bbq with it go ahead and order the heat deflector/cooking stone, it doesn't come with one. Size can be an issue, 604 sq in. is accurate, but it's hard to use both cooking grates at the same time. So you're really working with about 300 sq in., enough for 2 small pork butts or one 10 lb brisket. For direct grilling I would recommend getting some Grill Grates or something similar. With the lump charcoal it's easy to get some areas of the grill way hotter than others. The Grill Grates help even out the heat and give you great sear marks. Everything above are just my suggestions to make this grill all it can be. You may be happy with yours the way it comes out of the box. This is not the "perfect" grill, there is no such thing. But if you're willing to spend the time to learn how to work the dials and control the temps you can achieve perfect results. Again, I can't recommend this grill enough. If you're willing to spend some time with it.
