Vital Nutrients Glutamine Powder - Healthy Gastrointestinal Tract Function - Gluten, Dairy, Soy Free - Non-GMO - 225g/8 oz L-Glutamine Powder

I have the Vital Nutrients Glutamine Powder, which is a dietary supplement. It comes in an eight ounce plastic jar. I was disappointed that there is a label placed over the recommendations, warnings, etc. I have to get the jar in bright light with a magnifier to attempt to read the things that the label is placed over. Trying to peel the label off results in lifting of the print, so you cannot read it anyway. This product should be out of reach of children. Also, do not use if you are pregnant without checking with your doctor first. The recommended serving size is 2 rounded teaspoons. The recommendation is “1-2 rounded teaspoons 1-4 times daily, or as directed by your healthcare professional. There are 24 servings in the container. There is 9600mg of L-Glutamine as the ingredient, with no dietary value established. It is manufactured in the United States. This is the type of product, in my estimation, that you would need to take for more than 30 days to see any, if any, effects. Obviously, I haven’t been taking this long enough to use up the amount in the container, so I’m not sure if it is doing what it is supposed to do for you. I put the serving size in either juice or hot tea for consumption. The powder dissolves better in the hot tea as in the cold liquid it will settle in the bottom of the glass. There is a slight after taste, but it is not terrible. I would recommend it.

Vital nutrients glutamine powder is a very good product. They do  thorough testing plus additional 3rd party testing on their products. This is a respected brand and is manufactured in an FDA inspected facility. For me glutamine is a staple in my home. I have celiac disease and glutamine is great for helping to maintain good gut health. An amino acid that also helps muscle mass growth. Nothing else in it but glutamine. Free of common allergens. I am allergic to most foods and this product really helps my gut with no negative effects.  Always ask your doctor before adding supplements to your routine. Some may interact with medications. All our bodies are different. If you take and it doesn't agree with you it may not be for you. My I have friends with gut issues as well. Some one can take glutamine and thr other cannot. I love it! It is easy to take. Just add to water, stir and drink. I recommend starting out slow with 1/4 to 1/2 of the dosage and see how it works for you. I prefer 1 tsp a day for myself. You can then work up to the recommeded dosage. I recommend that with most supplements. This was my first time trying this brand. I wish they put more of their valuable information on the label.

I have only had this nutrient for a short period of time so I can't really recognize the effects. It is easy to take. I put it in my coffee and noticed a little bitterness. Overall, the product was well packaged and the powder dissolves quickly. I will have to take it for a longer period to be able to see the effects.

not a doctor so cant say if this is a healtry item or not... i do not realy notice any different. cant say if i reccomend it or not.. dotn see much effects ffrom it .

I kind of had high expectations for this. I was hoping not to have to take pills and that this would substitute that and do a good job. I honestly felt nothing different and no results. Maybe I haven't taken it long enough but I'm not sure I could recommend it in such a short time between receiving the product in the use to see an overall benefit. This isn't to say it's not a good product. It is awesome for mixing into drinks. There's no residual product left. And you couldn't even taste it. The granules are super fine which I like. Probably just needed more time to see a true difference. I will continue to use it until I am finished with the product to see if there really is a major effect.
