I have fewer allergy and sinus issues as well as increased joint comfort since supplementing with bromelain. This brand of the product is a very good value.

Best on the Market!

MOMx4 June 10, 2021

Im decided to take Bromelain because it is supposed to address several chronic health issues I have with my intestines, muscles & a chronic low grade sinus infection. In the past I have tried Bromelain but wasn't pleased with the added filler ingredients or found it had little effect. The difference with this product as well as other products I recently began taking is the purity of the products with no additives….I love this Bromelain!! I could tell immediately that it is helping my sinuses, relieving headaches & my intestines feel calmer. I have been in the healthcare field for over thirty years now & in that time I have honestly found only one or two product lines with this purity & effectiveness. I am so grateful and i am recommending this product to everyone.

Easy to Open

JLouiseB May 10, 2021

I really like the easy open screw on top. So many vitamin and supplement bottles are difficult for my old hands to open. I recently started using Bromelain so it will take some time to really know the long term benefits of daily usage. I need all the help available for digestion and joint improved health. I am glad there is no gluten/wheat, soy or other ingredients that my immune system can no longer tolerate.

I'm not sure if it's going to work. I usually use NOW vitamins bromelain. This Vitamatic doesn't seem to have the same anti-inflammatory effect so far. Also, there is a taste with the capsules like it's just dried pineapple and not necessarily bromelain which comes from other parts of the pineapple and not the fruit itself. I may bring it back.

Disappointed

TiffyAnn May 22, 2021

I so wanted these to help with the joints and pains of arthritis. I really don't feel they did that for me as I had hoped. I didn't notice much change at all. However, they are very easy and a nice size to swallow. I like the fact they are manufactured using all-natural-based ingredients and are not going to harm your body. Each person's body make-up is different and I would not hesitate to try them. They do seem to have helped others reading reviews.

I think it works for me

microlloyd May 7, 2021

I am reviewing Vitamatic Bromelain. This comes in a 500-milligram capsule. You can see the size of the capsule vs a penny in the photo that I have uploaded to accompany this review. The recommended dosage is one capsule per day with a meal. I am interested to see how this product addresses my arthritis. I have tried various NSAIDS to reduce my arthritic inflammation in various joints, particularly my knees. I have also tried Turmeric capsules and have been prescribed Diclofenac. In my non-scientific and not statistically significant test, I tried a week of each while not varying my work and exercise habits. I like the results I got from Turmeric and then Diclofenac. I do feel that the Bromelain made a difference too. Tylenol is not helping. Aspirin hurts my stomach when I take enough to make my knees feel better. I am not enjoying anything good from ibuprofen. I was interested to learn that Bromelain is extracted from pineapples. I wonder if I increased my intake of pineapples if I would have a similar result? Eating pineapples and drinking the juice is much more fun and fulfilling than taking capsules. Like many dietary supplements that are available and touted to cure a myriad of aliments, you need to test it on yourself. The FDA has not been allowed to do the work. Your healthcare provider will give you anecdotal information at best or nothing at all. So you are on your own to try and measure the efficacy of Bromelain on yourself. For me, I felt a little better. But I have found other things I think are more effective.

Expecting too much??

Townpiper May 18, 2021

I have a lot of pain with my RA and Osteoarthritis. I have taken this for two weeks and found no change. Maybe I was expecting too much. I have sinus problems from allergies as well, but it wasn't helpful with that either. A doctor had given me bromelain years back after surgery. They were tiny pills that dissolved and tasted good. These capsules have a fishy smell.
