I love the flavor, and the ingredients. It provides the perfect amount of caffeine, but with.clean ingredients. It was discounted for a short time, and I felt lost without it. I couldn't find a decent replacement. Although the product came back at a price $4 higher per box, it's worth the price to me! Now just get it back in my local stores please!!!
Finally i have found energy drink that doesnt have bunch of chemicals you cant pronounce. This replaced energy drink mix i've been buying thru health/fitness organization. At around 50c per mix, its 60-70% less than the ones i used before without getting off of all natural stuff. Works everyday!!!
I would recommend the. Vitamin Hydrate Energy Orange Slice Stick Packs to individuals who are in need of a boost of energy but are strapped for time. I enjoy coffee immensely, but when I first wake up I like to have a drink that requires minimal preparation. I enjoy mixing a sachet of the Vitamin Hydrate Energy Orange Slice Packet in a glass of ice cold water mixed with a sachet of Emergen-C. The drink is relatively invigorating and helps me ease into the morning as I get my children ready for school and prepare myself for work. Vitamin Hydrate Energy has 150 mg a f caffeine derived from green tea. This is a decent dose of caffeine and is the equivalent to a strong cup of coffee. It is also has 500 mcg of vitamin B12. I've had B12 as a supplement on its own before, and tends to not effect my energy level, but rather increases my awareness and focus. It pairs well with the caffeine and helps to bring me out of my morning fog. It also contains 250 mg of taurine. Often, I like to do fasted exercise in the morning. This drink is great for that. Unlike coffee, which can be slightly rough on the stomach, Vitamin Hydrate Energy doesn't leave my belly rumbling and allows me to be I physically active shortly after ingesting. I would do exercise a minimum of 15 minutes afterwards. That said, I still feel highly energized an hour after consumption, so you can exercise whenever the urge hits you. Finally, the taste is fine, but nothing special either. It more or less taste like Emergen-C or Orange Tang.
My husband works a very physical labor job and he loves packing these to drink during his workday. It provides him energy and electrolytes which is important because he often sweats a lot during his job. He said the flavor is tasty and he does notice a significant difference between drinking these and just straight water
If you are a low carb/ low sugar counter this recovery drink is for you. I like the orange flavor and no after taste. The ingredients are easy to look up and find what their benefits are. Don't drink pass the recommended serving suggestion. The caffeine intake might interrupt from your daily coffee intake. Otherwise I would recommend this product.
I have consumed 2 - 20oz bottles of this energy drink and I can honestly say that it gave me the energy needed to complete my workout. I found that I had more energy and felt good during weight lifting. The reason for not giving 5 stars is due to two things: 1. The taste isn't great. This tastes like an orange drink but has a slight after taste. I actually am getting used to the taste and this second bottle tasted much better to me and 2. It doesn't dissolve very quickly in the water. I had to shake the bottle for quite awhile to get it to dissolve.
I have been loving these electrolyte/energy drink mixes! They give you a boost during that afternoon slump and help replenish you after working out. I like that they did not use artificial colors as well. The taste isn't amazing- but it is no worse than an energy drink with far worse ingredients.
I give these a rating of only 4, which might even have been 3, if it werent for one of the reasons Im not marking a 5... which is Im sorry to say that I just really didnt care for the flavor, however in its defense, Im really not a big fan of anything orange flavored besides real orange juice, or pop. I like that it has electrolytes and will use it for that on occasion, since I rarely drink enough plain water and do tend to get slightly dehydrated. as for the taste, it reminds me alot of Tang or maybe Sunny D, which really I've never cared for, but if u are a fan, I definitely think ud like this. Id choose this over Gatorade for restoring ur electrolytes, because of the calories and sugar in gatorade, this has only 5 calories and zero sugar, so if those things matter to u, Id recommend it. the packets are a little bigger than a normal water drink packet, which I use frequently, but do not go for the orange flavor.... I didnt feel much of an energy boost either, even when I had 2 of them at once, one day, but again in its defense it turned out I had an ear infection coming on. the other thing I didnt care for w this over other drink mixes was that it left a gritty fuzzy feeling on my teeth, Im a chronic brusher so cant stand anything on my teeth, and havent really noticed that w the great value drink mixes I normally use. I would buy this again, as I mentioned for the electrolytes restorance but its not going to become my new favorite drink, for the reasons I mentioned. :)
The nastiest thing that I ever tasted. I was barely able to drink half of bottle the mix. I would not recommend this product to no one. It might do all the things it says but in order for me to drink it again, I'm going to have to doctor it up first.
I know taste is subjective, but this isn't for me. I had 4 other people try it also, and they also agreed that it wasn't very good. Very chalky and taste like a sour orange. It took as little while to properly dissolve in warm water. I'm sure it would take even long to dissolve in cold water. The individual packages aren't marked either, just small white packets. I received this item as a part of a review program.
