Vitamix 64-ounce Low-Profile Blending Container with SELF-DETECT

We've had our Vitamix for years and it is a workhorse. I recently decided to upgrade the carafe, as the old one was showing signs of wear after daily use for so many years. I expected to appreciate the new appearance, and I did - the new one is clear and looks it makes the entire blender feel new. But what I didn't expect is that this upgrade is easier to clean, and the slightly wider base and new blades makes the blending work more effectively. It seems faster, too.

We had our previous container for 8 years before it finally cracked on us. We use our blender almost every day, and don't go easy on it. I'm very happy the last one made it for as long as it did, and this new replacement fit our blender perfectly.

I bought a second container so I could separate between meat and dairy, since I have a kosher kitchen. I'm so happy to have a second one and it works perfectly!

Absolutely love the Vitamix X5. I have been a vitamix owner since the early 80's … wow. This is over the top best one yet. I purchased with the 48 oz and ordered the 64 oz because I have a large family and cook A L O T! I used both and love how easy they are to clean. Love the clear top as well… I feel it is much easier to maintain and keep squeaky clean and sanitary. The blades are impressively sharp and deliver the most amazing end result every single time. I highly recommend the large canister if you cook a lot. I plan to add the other attachments in time as well. ENJOY!

I brought my Vitamix 5 years ago. I have had no problems at all with it. I'm so happy. I make my green juices. The strength of the machine breaks the cell walls on my veggies and brings out the most potent green juice possible. I recently had to replace the blender container. I made the transition hassle free. My 5 year old blender used the up to date containers. It was great!!

I love my Vitamix it's the only blender that can turn anything to juice. Don't waste your time on others Vitamix for the win.

I bought this to replace my older one that had cracked after a fall from the cupboard. So far so good after 2 months with the new one.

Great product when you need to blend just a bit more for those extra guests! Works just as well as the 48 oz, making it indispensable when entertaining.

Bought this a few months ago. It's a great size and can handle anything I throw at it including nuts and ice cubes. The one thing that bugs me is the minimum amount you need to have in the blender is a bit much. Need at least 3 cups for liquids and 2 for nut butter. Not a huge issue but would be nice to make less sometimes. Aside from that it cleans easily and is really sturdy. Impressed with the quality of it to be honest

The graticular scale or measuring lines would be better with some tinting or darkening - to make them distinct & easy to read. I would have also liked a cushioned handle vs. the hard plastic... for this price point.
