When our old vitamix died (after many years) we immediately purchased a new one because we use our vitamix multiple times a day. This time, we decided to go for the sage gold label A3500. The color is really fun - cheerful but muted, and adds some fun to our minimalist style. This appliance does everything we need it to and more. Looking forward to getting the food processor attachment in the future.
I bought the A3500 for the soup option and the first soup I made was tomato basil soup in 6min. So crazy! I use my vitamix also for making nut milks and I have to say that this blender just gives the best consistency. Almond macadamia milks come out perfect and I don't get any chunks leftover. I also bought the food processor attachment for the fast shredding and slicing. When I make smoothies I use the blender smoothie cups to make it easy for me to get out the door. I would definitely splurge on this model. It's worth every penny.
I have been eye balling Vitamix Blenders for years and I finally did it, I bought the A3500 series in white. Not only is it beautiful on my counter but this thing works like a dream. I have only had it a few weeks so far and have used it at least 6 times. Each time loving how my recipe came out. Wishing I had not waited so long to buy this machine!
Worth every penny! I use it multiple times a day or week depending what I'm making. I make my own almond milk now because it's so easy and tastes so much creamier than store bought! I seriously love it and has made prepping my lunches for work a breeze!
So far I am making smoothies in it and they turn out great. I tried soup but did not like the texture. Vitamix blends in a way which gives the drink an airy smooth texture which works great with smoothies but for me not for soups. I made nut butter and it was the best nut butter I have ever made. I am glad that I bought this modal as controlling the speed and pushing it to maximum speed manualy was a challenge for me. It heats up if you don't increase the speed to max within few seconds. I love it and I would defiantly recommend it to anyone who takes their kitchen appliances seriously.
I have had 2 previous Vitamix models purchased in 2011 and 2012 and both have performed very well. The first was gifted to my step son. The second and this newest purchase are in my home and I couldn't be any more pleased with it's performance. The only minus in the rating from a 5 star is that if a customer such as myself buys multiple containers at once as I did this past holiday season some sort of a better discount should have been offered for a large purchase with multiple accessories including multiple containers, scales, scrapers, filtration bags, smaller containers and smoothie cups. It's only fair. Thank you Regards...G.Rosado.
My only complaint is that it is noisy. Otherwise it is fantastic, liquified fruits and veggies for smoothies like a charm, even when fruits are frozen and there is ice in the container. It makes amazing hummus, smoother than the smoothest one you can buy. Hope the company makes the smaller containers available soon.
I want to love it as much as my older professional 750. It is sluggish on the cleaning cycle. I have tried less water and more water. I hope to find the sweet spot because it is not fun cleaning it by hand after using it. My 7500 power washes itself. I love the ability to make both hot or cold soups in this machine. Perhaps I need to learn more about how to optimally use it. It is tricker than the machines that have the dial to turn. With computer programming, there is a steeper learning curve. Perhaps moving forward appliances that are smart will take more smarts to take advantage of then the more simple well designed earlier incarnations. I'm not sure we will keep it if we can't figure this out.
I was so excited to get this bad boy and purchased the best one. I used to use a nutibullet to make shakes for all family members so wanted this to make on batch. I have to stop and unstick the blade all the time it locks up. This never happened in the other product. I expected a lot more power!
I regret the decision. Everything is fussy to place on the sensor pad whether it be a jar or a container. You need to be so precise on things! There are many extra steps involved in a simple grind of almonds in a mini cup than other options out there. It's over marketed. It needs improvement from an Engineering and Design perspective. The only elite thing about it is the superb marketing and excellent advertisement.
