Vitamix Series 7500 Variable Speed Blender Red (56406 )

We bought our first Vitamix a few months ago. We are so glad that we did! It has been fantastic. We use it at least twice a day, if not more. It is a definite staple now. I would recommend also getting the 32 oz container for smaller batches/recipes.

Everything my food processor used to do, this blender does in half the time and with far better quality. Its even enticed me to start cooking things i would normally have bought in the past, like peanut butter and tahini. I've ground everything from rice to lentils and even a coconut in my vitamix and its always surpassed my expectations. this blender has given me the confidence to start making my own hot sauce and pasta sauce as well. My vitamix has supplanted my juicer, my food processor, and my soymilk maker. I only wish id learned about this machine sooner.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for myself. I only bought it because they did not make the parts any more for my twenty year old broken Vitamix. I love it! It is quiet, powerful and truly quite stunning. The red is a perfect contrast to my black countertops. And, oh the things you can do and the delicious recipes you can make. It comes with a very nice recipe book, but you will find that with a bit of practice, you will feel comfortable with your own ideas. A real plus compared to my old one is the ease of cleaning. If you are thinking of something else instead of a Vitamix, put those thoughts out of your head. I highly recommend this Vitamix. You will be in love!

I have been using a Vitamix for 35+ years. The first one was inherited from a grandmother when I was a young wife. It is such a vital part of the kitchen that it has been a wedding gift for two of my children! Had to replace my old one this last month.

We bought the Vitamix 7500 about 3 months ago, and we are very happy with our purchase. Our main goal for our blender was to be able to make super-smooth green smoothies that our young children would be willing to drink. Our daughter has been drinking her spinach through a straw and begging for more! Unfortunately our son has "caught on" and now refuses to drink anything green, but we still have been using the Vitamix to chop veggies that we hide in spaghetti sauce and other foods. I also have been making lots of smoothies and whole-food juices for myself. My only complaint is that this machine is VERY loud. I noticed my ears were ringing after I ran it, and I have started to wear ear protection when I run the machine, which is a little annoying. It also takes up a lot of space in our small kitchen, but we use it enough to justify that loss of space. I'm dreaming of a custom Vitamix cabinet when we remodel our kitchen someday!

I bought this blender after researching quality blenders. The Vitamix always came out on top. The price was expensive and I questioned whether I wanted to invest that much in a blender. The seven year warranty was persuasive and buying it straight from Vitamix allowed me to purchase it on an interest free payment plan. I decided to go for it. I'm so glad I made the correct decision for me! I absolutely love the power of this blender. It liquifies everything I put in it. Morning smoothies have never tasted better. No more chunks of unground carrot getting caught in the straw!! The ease of use of the control toggles makes this blender a pleasure to use. It's so simple to operate and control how much power you need. It has a one piece jar so I don't have to worry about leaking seals and blades. It has a short wide mouth jar that fits on/under the kitchen cupboard. It's is very easy to clean. I love my Vitamix 7500. I would recommend this blender to anyone who wants high quality and performance in one awesome kitchen appliance.

We bought it a month or so ago and it worked great for the first couple of times we used it. Now we have to do all types of gyrations to get the blade to chop the food and ice. Almost like the blade is frozen and the motor is running. Need to call to see we can get it fixed or a new one shipped. We will see how the warranty works.

This does not have the same sleek design of the original vitamix. It's bulky, the shape of the jar is bulky and ugly. Now would think that by now the newer models would be less noisy. This is more noisy, and rough. I sent it back. I'm surprised Vitamix would put their name in such a poorly made machine.

The first one from the company lasted less than a week before it completely stopped working. The second one from a local retailer NEVER worked. I got full refunds on both upon their return. I have since bought a blendtec and am very happy so far...........but since it's less than a month old, I still hold my breath every time I push the button!!

We purchased this blender because the older model (same blender) was having a lot of trouble. We use our vita mix daily to make anything from smoothies to pancakes and the motor on the old one was frequently overheating, so we figured it was time for an upgrade. Unfortunately, the newer molder performed worse than the old one. My husband got the older one out and asked me to send the new one back.
