I absolutely love it

I was worried seeing some reviews but in my case it turned out well worth the money. You get 2 packages containing the whole thing. I recommend two people to assemble but it is do-able alone. If you know how to match up letters and pictures then it's easy to assemble. If you assemble carelessly you can damage the poles and bend them, obviously. I had no problem with getting the door installed and working as it should. I put the hinges closer to the top and bottom to support the weight better. The type of latch is very common and works just fine if you know how to use it. The wire was the hardest part of getting it all together and I didn't follow the instructions on putting it on but in the end I made less cuts and was left with plenty to make repairs in the future. I used my own zip-ties as the ones it came with were not good enough in my opinion. I also used bigger stakes, if you have the tarp on, high winds will lift this up a bit with the included stakes. The tarp is showing signs of wear where it goes over the top rail but that's to be expected. As for protection, this is chicken wire. So it's obviously not gonna keep a dog out or really anything that's determined on getting in there. I bought this to keep hawks from getting my chickens, if you need to stop coyotes, dogs, racoons (I've never heard of raccoons attacking chickens until I started looking for these pens) then you'll need to reenforce the lower end with other types of fencing as chicken wire is primarily to keep chickens contained not to stop predators. I live in a very small town with corn fields behind me and a hayfield beside me and we get raccoons, coyotes, foxes, hawks, and more if that helps paint the picture for the amount of predators around.

For the price point this was surprisingly a good purchase. The structure clicks together loosely and isn't "high quality", but it serves it's purpose well. The fencing was the most challenging part...tons of zipties. I fixed the entire thing to a 2x6 base which gave it a much more structured feel. Will keep my chickens in, but I'm certain predators will be able to get in if they try harder and an initial buzz through. I didn't buy it to keep predators out, but to just contain my ladies. Would I buy this again? Yes, because it serves my purpose of ranging my chickens without them being on the neighbor's porch.

this was easy to put together. If you have chicks you'll need to block the door because they can fit under it. I live in NW PA so we have lots of predators it does not do much to keep predators out so you will need to reinforce to make sure nothing can get in.

The frame is ok if you disregard the blood blisters from sliding the pipes together while holding in the pins. The wire is so weak a squirrel could and did break in 3 nights in a row allowing the chickens to escape and the shower curtain quality cover was laughable. It's a piece of garbage. DO NOT PURCHASE!
