I love how sturdy these paper towels are. They have a very clothlike soft texture that does not compare to any other paper towels. I have always used bounty in the past but have found that Viva lasts longer, is softer and does really well in absorbing big messes. These are so soft for wiping messes of small faces and hands. They don't rip super easily but I dont mind that they cling very well so you don't pull more than you need while trying to rip just one. These have become my new favorites, and I highly recommend them for anyone.
Last year I opted to try great value paper towels to save 💲 and I knew it wasn't a permanent change. Not long after, I bought these Viva "cloth" paper towels and just opened today. Tore off a sheet, felt the material and cleaned as usual 😁. Very high quality. Brawny, GV and the others have a lot of catching up to do decreasing the costs.
Viva Signature Cloth paper towels are several steps above the competition. For starters they have the tear off sheets which allows you to use only half the towel for smaller spills. They don't unravel several at a time when you only want on. You get one, not 5 or 6! They are similar to cloth vs. paper and are very strong. They are very absorbent, extremely durable and always get the job done. Viva may cost a few pennies more, but they are completely worth it and I can't think of another brand that comes close to their quality.
Best cloth like paper towels ever! Each roll is TIGHTLY rolled. Absorbent, thick soft, clean up, rinse and reuse. If you want this cloth like product make sure the package says " VIVA SIGNATURE CLOTH PAPER TOWELS." If the package uses the wording " TASK" you WILL NOT receive a cloth like paper towels. There is a HUGE difference between Signature Cloth and Viva Task.
I just don't buy any other paper towels. I can peel the carrots/potatoes, whatever. Carry on the paper, shake the peels into the compost bin. Take the paper towel back to the cutting board to slice/dice. Carry on the paper towel to the stove and shake the veggies into the pan. Dampen the paper towel, and use it to wipe the cutting board -- and my hands. Could probably keep going...I don't know when it would wear out.
I've used Viva exclusively for many decades, I'm very disappointed in the new product. They are way thinner, rougher, and the perforations aren't properly cut to rip off each towel- so they rip haphazardly and get powdery white dust all over my towel holder. They are so grossly textured now, just touching them gives me skin chills akin to when the dentist has me bite down on cotton. I've always loved the way the original Viva towels were thick, soft, super absorbent and strong- they absorbed big messes and didn't tear while I used them, yet they were soft enough to use as napkins on my face and lips. I didn't mind paying more for the high-quality product because I used to feel they were worth it, but if this the new level of quality I won't be purchasing them any longer. They feel like cheap dollar store paper towels. It's a real shame when big companies excitedly rebrand their products as "new" when it's obvious they've just cut every corner to make themselves more profit and ruined the product's quality for loyal customers such as myself. In my opinion, you should still offer the original high quality Viva towels at a premium price for those of us who are willing to pay more for a premium product, and package these new ones as your "budget line" of thrifty towels for those looking for bargain quality thin, rough, inferior paper towels.
I will never purchase this item or anything else again from third party vendors again. It took almost a month to receive an item I needed the day I placed the large order of groceries. From this point on, I will be very hesitant in purchasing any item from Walmart online. Oh, it wasn't a 6pk, it was an 8pk that cost me $50
0 rating for the driver This is the second time this week that I didn't receive an order. The first time I received someone else's order. This time I didn't receive anything. I have a photo of the building where I live but my apartment is at the end on the other side. I never received anything. I'm a disgruntled Walmart plus customer
I am a long time user of theViva Signature Cloth, paper towels, and they are not what they used to be . I am not sure if the change is because of “shrinkflation”. However, there is a real decline in quality. They are noticeably thinner, less absorbent, and tear so very easily. I think Viva customers have a high-end taste and really loved how they felt like a cloth and less like a paper towel and how thick they were and I was willing to pay a little more for that because I like nice things. However, every time I tear a sheet off my current roll of Viva paper towels, I get angry because they always tear in pieces and they're not as thick as they used to be. I can feel the difference. They feel cheap. It's frustrating because I am willing to pay more for good quality and these were my favorite paper towels, and now I'm going to have to find a new favorite paper towel.
(My experience!) While placing a delivery order I noticed an ad for Viva 6 pack of double rolls for $5. Awesome, too good to be true deal. Immediately without hesitation I order 4 packs and knew I wasn't going to get them or I would have ordered way more. Those prices were 10 years ago. I patiently wait till the almost the last day to file for a return, and did the automated chat system for a refund. Walmart was very respectful and refunded the money because it was a third party they did not honor the price. That is my only disappointment, I thought it would fall under false advertising. I took a screen shot of the ad and all transactions dealing with it because that's what I do when it seems to good to be true. Now! the towels deserve 10 stars, I actually ordered the triple rolls right after the refund because these towels are unbeatable, they are reusable, tough, soft, no other towels are compatible except the shop towels! The 1 star is just to bring attention to the point, if you allow an add to be place, regardless of third party, you should honor it. They knew it was legit or they would not have allowed the transaction.
