I bought this product to use while cooking breakfast for my grandchildren . I wanted it because it had a pig on the outside of it and it's something they can look at while I was cooking bacon for them. I'd recommend it to any grandparent that cooks breakfast for their grandchildren a little bit of bacon never hurt anyone as long as you only eat two slices.

Put two strips of bacon in the frying pan and set timer for 3 minutes. Lifted the bacon press and flipped it, bacon was flat and already golden on one side. Cooked with that bacon press for two more minutes and my bacon was perfectly crispy and tasted SOOOOO GOOD. Yum.....seriously wish I'd had one of these decades ago. I would love to be able to get a second one but smaller in diameter to fit my small skillet as well......so if you have or sell another size for the smaller skillets, let me know, I'm ready to buy it! Usually cooking my strips of morning bacon is an operation requiring constant care and watchfulness. The ends curl up, I try to use a pair of tongs to keep the bacon flat.....multiple times. I have to watch it very closely so It doesn't go from delicious to burnt inedible uh oh ness. WHY didn't I think of this product before? WOW, seriously great solution! Easy to use, easy to clean, attractive design, great price........happy, get one for the cook, or should i say home chef in your family! Plan to make a burger for dinner tonight and see how great that is! Got some cooking excitement going on up. in here!

Exactly what I was looking for, and a price I was happy with. I use it to make homemade flat bread. Works wonderful. May try it with bacon, but I make most of my bacon in the oven

I really expected the color of the handle to be similar to the pic, but I got bright orange/red - see photo. It will still function, but it's just not a color I would choose to put on my house and not what I'm thought it would be. I still might return it.
