Vivitar LCD Display Bathroom Scale

Is it appropriate to give a great rating on a scale?! Only if it tells me the weight I would like to be! LOL! All kidding aside, this scale is doing its job! Easy to read digital display! Sleek design! It hasn't made me cry yet so that's a good sign! Haha! :)

While this scale is pretty dang accurate at measuring my fat @$$, it can't do it in the dark. There is no backlight. I am usually up at 4am and don't like turning on the lights potentially waking the bear still in the bed. I am disappointed in this no-backlight-issue but it is my own fault for not reading the description thoroughly... other than that, it works just fine. I've had it for 5 months and never had an issue with what it says it can do. I thought I could live without the backlight but I still miss it...

The scale works but inconvenient. Instructions say not to store the unit standing on it's side to protect battery life - I did but the battery only lasted 6 months.

The battery was almost impossible to take out and when I finally got it out and replaced it, the scale no longer worked. Also, unfortunately I was one month past the allowed return date. I would advise people to buy insurance for the scale or don't buy the scale.

Item came pretty well packed up but was scratched and damaged in some areas. But my family and I needed a scale so we will make due with what we received.

Mine is a little fussy as to the surface you use it on it must be very firm. Mine also eats batteries the first one didn't last a month and that's using it a couple times a week
