This is a decent quality drone. It's lightweight and isn't as heavy or bulky as other drones I've owned. It also folds up and comes with extra propellers. The batteries were easy to install. The battery for the drone is rechargable and charges up pretty quickly. It only lasts for around 10-15 minutes. Which I've noticed is fairly typical. It is alot of fun to fly once you get it up and runnjng. The app has alot of cool features, including GPS. The camera is surprisingly good quality and my phone fits well on the remote. It's pretty easy to control after a couple tries. My kids were even able to get the hang of it pretty easily.

VIVITAR VTI Skyhawk Drone is the perfect choice for novice Drone users who also want to use a camera! We've tried simple to fly drones in the past, with poor results. This one was really easy to set up and add the AAA batteries to the included remote. The app includes extra fun to flying! And it being an affordable novice flyer machine, it brought a lot of fun to our family outing! First of all, I recommend users to thoroughly read the enclosed user manual. My next suggestion is to not underestimate the use and performance of this compact drone. Once you add the app, you can control it from your phone. It's compact and foldable, and has about 15 full minutes of charged battery power . You can also take pictures and videos with your cell phone, with the app. I was surprised by the fact that it was larger and sturdier than I expected . I'll add that it should NEVER be flown in high winds, since it's meant as a drone for beginners. That being said, we took it out to a parking lot, and it performed well. It's perfect to use in clear open spaces with few obstructions and no high winds. It would work well in a park or on the beach with low wind. The take-off and landing were both smooth in our experience. Battery usage was on point for the price, and the camera picture was acceptable, although could be improved. The controller can be sticky, but is totally useabe. This drone was perfect for my husband and I, to introduce our children to this fun new family sport, that got us out of the house, and enjoying new technology together as a family! We're totally hooked! Everyone really needs to give VIVITAR VTI Skyhawk Drone a try, and make family memories in the great outdoors, and experience what nature holds, mixed with today's technology! I am highly impressed by this Skyhawk drone from Vivitar. It folds up for easy carrying, plus the battery is removeable for convenient charging. There is even a spot on the remote to hold your cell phone, also so you can fly it using the app.The fact that the cell phone holder extended to fit my phone was amazing to me. We hardly ever find a mount that would stretch far enough to accommodate my phone size. The camera on this thing is wonderful. It has such a clear picture. It's super easy to use, too! My 10-year-old and 8 year old love to fly it too, plus it isn't complicated after you practice a few times. The setup was pretty simple. All you had to do was unfold the drone and put batteries in the remote, and then you set up the app on your phone. They have an instruction book that walks you through everything, which is very helpful. The app adds a great new level of fun to it because it takes both pics and video, which look amazing and very clear. When you are flying it yourself, it has smooth take-off and return landing. It even has a button for emergency landing to do it quicker. If you are looking for a high quality well made drone, this is a nice one to get.

My husband and son love using this vivatar drone. It was easy to set up, and you need to download the app. I wish it came with a carrying or storage case. I like that it has a rechargeable battery however the remote requires batteries. It is a pretty good starter drone for my son.

My kids have been begging for a drone to take photos and videos of their flag football games. Something they saw on YouTube for sure. Plans on taking a group shot next game when it's not raining. Easy to use. Need to download an app to use photo/ video features. Flight time is short like most affordable ones. So bring a portable charger and have fun. Highly recommend!

This drone was a good size to navigate around my home. It was fairly easy to download the app, charge the drone and fly it. It's foldable so it's easy to store but it's small enough to fit almost anywhere! The only issues is the connectivity between the app and the drone. Sometimes it lost connection but overall it was a good.

The drone is fun to fly once you get it calibrated. It's not an easy thing to set up. There are really good instructions, just a lot you have to do before you can just turn it on and fly. But once you do, it's good for at least 15 min. The distance is 500 ft so for hobbyists, works great.

I calibrated it both times I went to fly it first time it flew great. Then the second time it lifted off it lost control imediently and slammed into a tree
