nice quality, a bit too tall for alcove install
option with shorter stem would be nice. I had to order a 43" set to get a shorter pole. first picture is with supplied post and the 50" wouldn't fit. it is shown with 43" TV. second picture is with shorter post and 50" TV that now fits.

Easy basic install
Was easy to install, just need a drill. First mount Ive ever done and took me about 30 minutes. Looks great on my mantle.

Good quality product with added flexibility
There is ample flexibility in lateral movement on the 'sliding' support bracket which was needed for my particular corner situation and my mounting support area. Despite being a few inches 'off center' seems very sturdy indeed with additional 'stops' to prevent further sliding. 30 degree rotation also very helpful for additional viewing angles. Instructions easy and clear and only took a few minutes.

Perfect!
Perfect! I repurposed an oak pedestal base from an old dining table and this mount allowed the TV to be mounted to the top of the pedestal.

No more TV's getting knocked over!!
I needed this because my cat had knocked down the last TV and it shattered everywhere!!! This solves that problem. I also like the fact that if I replace my TV stand or TV that I can just bolt it down to the new TV stand, or attach it to the new TV. It's easy to install. It's also priced right. Happy with the purchase and would recommend to others.
