This tracker has been more than I expected. It gives me everything at my fingertips. Being able to quickly see my stats has been helpful in planning out how to make sure I hit my goals. Plus, it was easy to synchronize to my food tracking app. The alerts, including email and messaging, have helped me not to miss a beat either.
I think I'm on my 3rd or 4th Vivosmart 4... to me, you get all the great features of an Apple Watch, etc. with less of the fuss. This device is very durable, thru massive workouts, year after year. And no worries if you drop it, etc. I also feel as though Garmin stats are the most accurate. Also the replacement/repair policy is unparalleled.
I have the Vivomove HR by Garmin. It's a little big and hot to wear all summer. The new Vivosmart 4 is great. Slim and light and it does all the things I love about the other. It keeps my steps, tracks stairs, sleep, notifies me of phone calls and texts are readable. I love it.
I love this watch! It has the capability of much more expensive watches. I love it for my sleep tracking and all exercises. It measures stress levels, intensity minutes, swimming and has so much more including comparative charts with other people your age. There's nothing lacking! The band wears out before the watch, but now you can buy replacement bands. You never need to take it off other than charging. Wear it in the ocean, pool, shower and even hottub and sauna! I'd recommend and have rebought!
Useful stat's. Great activity tracker for person exercising for health and enjoyment. Good value for price. Hardcore athletes may want more bells and whistles. I don't really need a tracker to tell me how far I walked/ran/rode my bike. I have found i like the heart rate monitor, sleep monitor, pulse ox, and other features. Step counter is nice as a reminder to get up and move more. Handier than carrying a smartphone everywhere.
I had the original and it was good then I had the vivosmart4 until I broke the band, then I got the Lilly 2 and hated that one no wat to log flights and i was in the middle of the challenge, I found a new band and I'm back to the vivo smart 4 and love it.
Only had the tracker a week. Is working well, but it keeps saying I am stressed. I am a teacher, but I haven't felt stressed. I will look into how it determines one's stress level once we are out for the summer. It self adjusts goals based upon your activity readings which I like and seems to be maintaining sync with my phone well, which was a problem with my old tracker from a different brand.
I was given my Vivosmart4 by my family over four years ago. In recent months I have been having difficulty with either upgrades of the Garmin Connect software, or my older devise - not sure which. Out of the blue the Bluetooth connection appears to disconnect for no apparent reason, and I end up having to delete the software, re-install and set up all over again. Otherwise, I love my ‘timepiece'.
I like the size of the watch however it does limit the information that you can view on the watch. I do not find that it is accurate when it comes to step climbing. However it is very comfortable and some of the features make you more aware of your daily activity or lack there of.
The main thing I did not like about the Garmin Vivosmart 4 is that it had a light that was trying to scan my vitals. I couldn't deal with the light even though I couldn't see the light much I could see it enough. The other thing about it I don't like is you have to use Garmin Connect which is Garmin's app. It wanted my information twice and it needed my agreement to something. I wouldn't buy this again!
