This was by far much better than I expected. I expected a home product and this is commercial grade and works that way too. The fact that it has a fan speed and can turn it all the way down seeing I don't need that much power lol, makes it perfect. I have the power when and if I every need it but I don't have to worry about running it 24/7 because it was obviously made to do this. Thank you!!!

**UPDATE**After seeing this review, the seller contacted me and mailed me a brand new, working unit, free of charge. I am incredibly satisfied, and will be buying from them again.I bought this whole setup with intentions of using it a month or so after buying. I made the mistake of not opening it up and testing the components until after the return period had closed.When I went to setup the unit, everything seemed fine except when I went to turn on the fan there was nothing. I tried it in several different outlets to make sure it was not an outlet error. Unfortunately it appears as though I’ve missed my opportunity to return the fan, even though it’s never been used, and was never functional.I can’t seem to find a way to contact the seller, otherwise I would have contacted the directly to discuss replacement of the fan component. Hopefully they will be able to help me out in getting a working fan replacement!

I use it as an air scrubber in a grow room not a exhaust fan. Simply set the filter down on its end and set the motor on top of it, plugged it in and turned it on and it works. Cleaner air. 12x18 room.Update: I now have it exhausting air straight outside rather than a circulating scrubber. I really does make a big difference. It makes a huge difference as my ladies (cannabis legal state) are getting quite fragrant. Just a few weeks from harvest. Great investment.

This exhaust system is amazing . I cant Tell yet if the carbon filter works but I will Keep you posted .Burned out in the first 30 days but the customer service was absolutely amazing I had A new one the very next day . I will Order more product from you for sure .

I have nine kitties, & keep their 8 litter boxes in my basement. It really bothers me if I walk in my house & smell litter box smell in my house. I try to keep up with cleaning them every day or two, but even when cleaning them every day, I would still get some sort of funky smell coming upstairs! My son suggested putting one of these exhaust fans in the basement, over near where the litter boxes are located. Well guess what... NO MORE STINK! This exhaust fan works great, & is also keeping my dehumidifier from running all the time. So it's killing two birds with one stone!!

The inline air duct fan blades appeared to be really well-balanced, noise level even on its highest setting is acceptable. It's no louder than a fan at night. It's heavy and feels well-built carbon air filter weighs a ton as well but does its job. I really do like being able to have control over the fan with the adjustable speed controller just to help me get a little bit more of a handle on temp and humidity. And for a little 3X3X6 tent that fan creates negative pressure even with all tent air vents open and the fan speed on its lowest setting definitely need an air intake fan to balance out biometric pressures inside your tent just as a flex on how strong the the ventilation system is.

Admittedly, I've only been running this for about a month now, but so far, I much happier than I expected. I've turned the fan down to between medium and high, and it is less noisy than my new dehumidifier. It's much quieter than I thought. It's not *silent* but it's a fan. It is *not* loud. It isn't in my bedroom or kitchen, but it really isn't bad. And it sucks the bejeezus out of my grow tent. I need to have two intake vents open. I'm actually going to hook up another small tent to it this afternoon.

The kit come with all the necessary parts! The filter is bigger than I expected and the quality is really good quality! The price is perfect if your are looking for something for a 5x5 tent (vivosun tent) or area. I do recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a full kit! All of Vivosun products that I have bought have been really good and working perfectly!I really liked that all the parts came in a big box and each part was wrapped securely so no damage can happen. The assembly was no problem and I was able to install everything by myself! Shipping was super fast, it arrived in 2 days!!!
