This was by far much better than I expected. I expected a home product and this is commercial grade and works that way too. The fact that it has a fan speed and can turn it all the way down seeing I don't need that much power lol, makes it perfect. I have the power when and if I every need it but I don't have to worry about running it 24/7 because it was obviously made to do this. Thank you!!!

I have nine kitties, & keep their 8 litter boxes in my basement. It really bothers me if I walk in my house & smell litter box smell in my house. I try to keep up with cleaning them every day or two, but even when cleaning them every day, I would still get some sort of funky smell coming upstairs! My son suggested putting one of these exhaust fans in the basement, over near where the litter boxes are located. Well guess what... NO MORE STINK! This exhaust fan works great, & is also keeping my dehumidifier from running all the time. So it's killing two birds with one stone!!

I've ordered from vivosun for years, they're definitely the best "cheap brand" on I own the 8 inch, 6 inch and 4 inch version of the fans. 8 and 6 are a year old and still going stong, but I had an issue with the 4 inch.After about 60 days it started sounding crazy, bearing went bad I'm assuming.But they were really cool, fast response and refunded me ???? so good on them for thatI'll still keep buying from them for sure

**UPDATE**After seeing this review, the seller contacted me and mailed me a brand new, working unit, free of charge. I am incredibly satisfied, and will be buying from them again.I bought this whole setup with intentions of using it a month or so after buying. I made the mistake of not opening it up and testing the components until after the return period had closed.When I went to setup the unit, everything seemed fine except when I went to turn on the fan there was nothing. I tried it in several different outlets to make sure it was not an outlet error. Unfortunately it appears as though I’ve missed my opportunity to return the fan, even though it’s never been used, and was never functional.I can’t seem to find a way to contact the seller, otherwise I would have contacted the directly to discuss replacement of the fan component. Hopefully they will be able to help me out in getting a working fan replacement!

I use it as an air scrubber in a grow room not a exhaust fan. Simply set the filter down on its end and set the motor on top of it, plugged it in and turned it on and it works. Cleaner air. 12x18 room.Update: I now have it exhausting air straight outside rather than a circulating scrubber. I really does make a big difference. It makes a huge difference as my ladies (cannabis legal state) are getting quite fragrant. Just a few weeks from harvest. Great investment.

This exhaust system is amazing . I cant Tell yet if the carbon filter works but I will Keep you posted .Burned out in the first 30 days but the customer service was absolutely amazing I had A new one the very next day . I will Order more product from you for sure .

This fan worked perfectly for about 2 months. Then I wondered if the output was reduced for the last month or so? Now a horrible grinding noise has started! I have a tiny Vivosun grow tent (which I really like) and knew that almost any fan would provide more than enough exhaust/filtering. I've been on Vivosun's website and cant find anything about warranty service or replacement? I suppose that I will call ?--UPDATE --I contacted Vivosun via their support email. After a couple of emails to get them the information that they needed, they refunded the money for the defective fan for me to simply replace it on ! New one arrives tomorrow! Awesome service!!

Product worked great for 2 weeks. Then it started making a bad vibration/rumble sound like something was rubbing. I contacted them and they sent me a refund, no problem. Had to buy another and that one also was quiet to begin with, but recently has a slight vibration like the last one. Not bad though. I'll wait for it to get worse.

This is my second one after I was so pleased with the first one i use as my out-take as soon as I had the money I ordered this one so I can have an amazing in-line carbon filter as well! Viviosun has always been my first choice when coming to growing supplies, it’s the only brand I’ve been ordering as I’ve been building up and improving my viviosun grow tent! Now I Just need to save for some of their led lights! lol or the chm light I would love to try and have my eye on next hopefully I can make that happen soon as I want my entire set up viviosun inside and out. Amazing products and brand!!!
