I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this tv. It has all the apps you could want. The picture quality is very good for an inexpensive tv (not cheap). I bought this primarily to use a monitor, but it works great as a small bedroom tv. But I was really surprised that I was able to hook up my very old computer/gaming systems (Atari 400 and Apple IIc) to it. The only drawback might be that the wireless is only n class but I don't notice any lag. Also, it weighs next to nothing. I move this around to different rooms and even to my outside deck. Got a great deal from Walmart. If you do buy this I hope you have just as much luck with it as I have.
I like this TV, the picture quality is better than of my old one. At first, I couldn't understand why the volume of HDMI is much lower than of HDM2 (my video player). It was fixed by going to Menu - Audio - Volume Leveling - ON. It is not set by default, that's why people complain about the sound level. Once it is ON (plus some increase of Bass and Treble), everything is perfect. Getting more natural colors is much easier than with the old version of VIZIO. Installation is a breeze, WIFI is caught in seconds. The full manual is installed in TV, but I went to VIZIO website and downloaded it from there. Fast shipping, careful delivery. I am a very satisfied customer.
Great as a second TV in the sewing room. Good sound and picture quality. The 32" size is ideal. Setup took a second try to be successful but was not frustrating. Price was a definite plus.
Unfortunately, like some others I also had issues with the tv staying connected to the internet. The tv is super light and easy to setup. The picture quality is a 3.5 out of 5, not that great but also not terrible.
If you need a replacement TV for cheap get this. Not cause it's smart. You try to cast from your phone to the TV it'll launch the app in the TV even when you want to mirror you phone screen to the TV. There are limitations to it as per the price. If you want a hassle free experience get a smart box like an Apple TV for a TV with all the smart feature. But I do give its credit to the very good picture quality. Hole screen is decent but cluttered to heck. Won't even give a setting where you can just use the button on the remote and assign an app like a speed dial. It basically forces you to download the Vizio smart app to have a more convenient experience. All in all. Get it cause it looks better than your older TV and the price is within your budget. This TV at a glance doesn't really put into view how limited it actually is even with the built in chrome cast. It's a very limited built in chrome cast. Also the invasive ads can be long as 70 sec opposed to my Roku Fire Stick where the freevee ads are 30 sec consistently
I purchased this TV in November 2021. It was easy to set up and used it with my Roku stick and an antenna for local channels. Then, all of a sudden Vizio did an update of the TV and will only let you use the "Smartcast" version. From there, I had a host of issues including I couldn't use my Roku at all. I tried all sorts of Googling, videos, etc. and it would not work. Also, we use Philo and Philo is not an app Smartcast supports. Nowhere to add it either as I tried. For a 68 year old lady, the Smartcast which didn't appear to be an option to remove or revert to the old format is not User friendly in my opinion. I just want to watch from my Roku, and stream. I replaced this TV with a non Smart TV and I now have everything I had before with Roku and my local antenna. This Vizio is going in our annual garage sale.
Piece of junk! Every time I turn the TV on I get a no signal message. I have to restart my TV every time. I've replaced the hdmi cable, reset the TV, unplugged all the cables and smashed the power button in for 30 secs and it still does it. Called Vizio and texted them. They are no help. They told me to select the right input every time. Save your money and buy a different brand.
I was expecting better from Vizio. Picture quality is average. Looks worse when viewing from sides. Set up took longer than expected because it took several efforts to connect to my Wi-fi. The onscreen instructions also led me through 4 download updates that took about 10 minutes each. i was ready to give up and return the TV. I suggest you go with Samsung, Sanyo, or JVC. I will not buy Vizio again.
Great picture and sound. WILL NOT CONNECT TO 5G. NO ETHERNET PORTS. TERRIBLE VIZIO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Returned
Quits in the middle of a program and has to be restarted. Remote constantly fails to change channels.
