Great Picture

cherieloren December 8, 2016

I bought this Smart TV by Vizio a couple of weeks ago and I love it. I especially love the ease of using Netflix, just click the Netflix button and it's there. This tv has a great picture. It was easy to hook up and one of the best things I've bought this year.

Very nice TV

Herb October 13, 2016

This is the third Vizio TV I bought. Bought one last year and two this padr September - one for son's birthday in October and one for granddaughter's birthday in December. Very good quality smart TV, and the price wasn't bad either.

Great TV at a great price.

Saw a special deal online after Thanksgiving, and the ordering process was a snap. We are very pleased with this TV and its picture quality. Very easy to set up with DirecTV and the smart features like Netflix and YouTube. Ended up being the perfect size for the bedroom where we put it. Highly recommend this.

Vizio

I bought this a couple of months ago for my grandson's room at his new home. So far this has been a great Tv and he has had no problems with it. Great buy for the money.

Nice quality, full feature inexpensive TVs

DDos January 3, 2017

I have another 55" Visio that I am very happy with so was comfortable buying these two smaller ones. I bought the 39" vs 40" or larger because the overall width was just right to fit the space non adjustable cabinet space I had available.

Great Smart features .

Bought this tv 4 months ago . The picture is very nice and the smart functions re great for streaming my Amazon Prime programming as well as NetFlix and HULU . The new style legs are a pain though . The old pedestal style stand fit a wider variety of tv stands . I had to modify my stand to accommodate this tv . The Legs are too wide apart . Anybody buying this tv as a replacement and already have a stand be sure and measure to be sure the tv's legs will fit the stand . I do not see any improvement in the stability of the tv using these legs instead of a pedestal stand .

Average TV

rodentdiver December 28, 2015

Overall I am satisfied with this TV, especially at this price point, but a couple of things could use improvement. When the picture is in 'vivid' mode, there is clipping in the pallet of colors. That is, a lack of graduation from similar colors. Also, the remote is very clicky, has square corners that dig into the palm of your hand, and the underside of the remote tapers down so that when you push buttons towards the edges of the remote it tends to pivot in your hand. Sound is good, and overall picture quality is good, minus the exposure/color clipping that I mentioned. Lastly, the volume control is slow to respond when you first turn it on. So if you wake up early and don't want to disturb people still sleeping with the volume level you left it at the previous night, it's going to take 4-5 seconds, once turned on, to respond to the remote.

Disappointed with it being "Smart"

EZ September 13, 2016

Was looking at a 40" regular tv. Saw this and bought instead. My thinking was that I'd spend less money for 1" difference on the screen and have a smart tv so I wouldn't need to buy a streamer like chromecast. Got installed. Couldn't find the ESPN app or WatchESPN app. This TV does not have it. Now I'm stuck with a smaller tv and still had to buy a streamer.

The picture is downright awful

TMJM March 8, 2016

I guess it's the 720p thing: maybe it's too low resolution for a 39" TV. But I cannot believe they make a TV in 2015 with a picture this bad. And the viewing angles are just beyond terrible. If you're not sitting dead center in front of the TV, the picture starts to white out, as though someone is cranking down the contrast. Any movement on the screen, action etc., reveals pixel chunks and discoloration, and no setting I went through corrected any of these problems. I love tweaking a picture on a TV, but regardless of what levels I raised or lowered or what preset I selected, I could not get a good picture out of this thing. I returned it.
