I recently busted my 60” tv , and being a valued customer of Vizo, I must say I was extremely pleased with the way they handled my situation by offering a better tv for a way lesser price than what I paid for my 60”. I couldn't believe it!! Besides having a sharp pic, and great features it goes perfectly on my wall in my living room not to big or to small being I have a 1bdrm apt.. I've could've made a better choice and believe you won't either.. wow!! What a beautiful picture it has and not to mention I hooked up my Vizo surround sound to it so it's like I have a mini theater in my aptment. I absolutely love my tv !!! Thanks Vizo for keeping an happy customer!!!
I always wanted a wall-mounted TV that showed museum-quality artwork while I'm not watching TV. This is it. Most people probably don't care, but the feature that displays my JPEG image library on a USB memory stick makes this Vizio display beautiful all the time, not just while I'm playing a movie.
Purchased this D-series 43" about a month ago and really enjoy all the features that came with it, I can watch TV programs from the past and untold amount of movies, took me some time to get used to all the features but it is the best TV I have ever owned.
This is the 3rd Vizio tv we currently own. We are happy with all of them, and this is the reason I bought the current one. Have had no issues to date.
Bought this as a replacement TV for one that was less than 4 years old so we weren't happy about that. We were happy to receive a model upgrade at a fairly discounted price and appreciate it but wish we didn't have to put money out for a new TV already.
After a bad experience with a previous Vizio 50" TV that stopped working completely after less than 2-1/2 years (no power at all even with a new power cord), I called Vizio directly and was given the opportunity to purchase the Vizio D-Series D50-E1 TV, for a fair price plus tax. So far I am happy with this Vizio TV. I would have preferred a different design of the stand, since with the design of the legs on this stand, I cannot turn the TV in order to see it when sitting in my dining room (as I was able to do with the design of the previous TV). Hopefully, the life span of this new TV will be much longer than previously.
This is the second Vizio we've purchased. Enjoy the ease of accessing Smart features & applications. The D-series was easy to set allowing us to begin watching immediately. Did not want the Chromecast features, so very pleased this model available. Four stars provided as not a fan of the black perforated legs design. Much prefer the silver legs on our M-series. Additionally, missed the QWERTY keyboard feature available on our M-series.
Well, in everything I watch I get only 720 pixels 1080 in some other things. I thought that with this kind of tv the resolution was going to be better, but no. The problem I think is that most of the channel owners haven't update to HD and that's why if we have a smart tv the resolution still the same.
I am slightly hard of hearing, and would like to fine tune the audio but with this unit I have not found a way to do this. As for the rest of the unit I find it no better or no worst that my last unit.
To be honest, I found this model (which replaced a previous Vizio model) had a very narrow viewing angle where images were clear and colors popped. Moving only slightly off straight-on, the colors washed out and the images blurred. Sent it back to Vizio and replaced it with an E series of the same size and I am totally satisfied with it. Where the D series failed, the E series stepped up and now I am happy.
