They say Vizio makes the best HDTV's around and I was skeptical at first but when I saw the picture for myself at a local WalMart, I knew they weren't kidding and I purchased one and the picture and everything about is exceptional! I'd strongly recommend this brand to anyone seeking a quality HDTV for an affordable price! The ONLY negatives to the TV is that the time and date seem already set on it and there is no way to change it unfortunately but since my on-screen program guide is already set on the DVR from my local cable company, I have no worries. Everything will record normally. Really, not being able to change the date and time is really my ONLY gripe about the set because otherwise, it's clearly exceptional and now, I can see why Vizio is the BEST brand of digital HDTVs around today!
I was looking for a t.v. for an aunt without a ton of frills , but in a 42 " size. Relative is older with vision problems and she didn't want or need a smart t.v. I've owned a Vizio for several years and have always like the picture quality. This T.V. was no exception. Great picture, easy setup. Very affordable. Wasn't sure about the new kind of legs, but we liked them as well and they are sturdy. If your looking for a thin, flat screen, with great picture quality and sound as well as a price that isn't to hard on your budget, this is the perfect T.V.!
This 43 inch flat screen is a perfect fit for a small guest bedroom. It's light, just about 20 lbs, and was easy to install on a wall mount. The picture and resolution are great. I did not expect this picture quality for a tv that cost $228.00. I'm completely satisfied with this buy.
Last Vizio unit (32") purchased at WalMart eight years ago. Never had one issue whatsoever. Larger house and decided to purchase a larger unit. Couldn't be more pleased. Sound is much better than the last. The 32" is now in the bedroom. Vizio has to be one of the best bargains out there. Thanks WalMart.
This was a great deal on a great tv. Nothing super fancy, but it has very good picture quality. It's easy to set up, and there are options to personalize your viewing preferences.
Set up easily. A beautiful picture & excellent sound. I all ready own a vizio "4yrs" because of the quality & I trust the brand. I replacing my 2 yr broken down sanyo that keeps cutting off by itself. Trust the brand.
This TV was perfect for my 58 yeR old retired army veteran father bought it as a gift and he hasn't stopped watching Blu rays yet day 11 of having it lol good JOB VIZIO
For only $230 I couldn't ask for a better t.v. I payed $450 for the same size and same brand t.v (but it was a smart t.v) so for half the price you get the same exact t.v without all the extra bells and whistles. So if you are not interested in, or don't need the smart t.v then this t.v is def worth it. My only complaint was that the sound on it was kind of low so I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I just simply plugged in my blueray surround sound to the t.v and now it sounds great. So I would recommend doing that or getting a sound bar. The t.v has great picture quality and came well packaged and arrived pretty quickly. Happy I bought it.
Purchase was fast & easy @ Wal-Mart. Set up was a different story. The cable coming from the cable box was used to go into the back of the TV. When I turned on the TV it prompted me to select cable or antenna. I chose cable knowing that it wasn't coming from an antenna. No connection was on the screen. I checked all the connections and tried again. No Luck! After a few rounds of checking connections without luck, I thought my only other choice is antenna so, I switched to antenna. Alleluia! I did have to go to my cable co. to get a HD cable box with a HDMI cable to get HD TV. I'm going on 71yrs. old and far from being an electronics geek so, a few words in the instructions would have been helpful. Other than that the TV has a great picture.
After buying this tv I understand why it was so cheap. It works fine just isn't the best quality. Fortunately I only bought it for a bedroom tv that won't be used a lot. I wouldn't recommend it if you plan to put it in your living room as your main tv.
