this was our third Vizio T V so we knew the product and were confident in the product. Our grandson came to hook it up; and he had just bought the same brand and model the week before. Had to replace existing one because of lightning strike was shipped in a timely fashion and arrived in the store quickly very happy with product and Walmart service.
WE have been huge fans of another brand for a long time. We loved their product but they are soooo expensive. Saw the Vizio line and thought that the picture was fabulous and purchased 5 units. Later, I talked to my brother (the tech geek) and told him we bought Vizio television for the whole house and he gave me a two thumbs up. He advised that Vizio produces a lot of the parts that are installed in the high dollar TV's. So his sis did good. :) The only thing that I am not super excited about is the sound. On the smaller televisions it's not too shabby but on the larger units it not all that great. SOOO we bought a soundbar and problem solved.
In not a very tech savvy guy so when I saw this TV advertised as a Smart TV, I had some reservation. When I saw the bargain price though I decided to order it. I couldn't be happier. The tv setup is so easy. I was watching it within 15 minutes after taking it out of the box. I'm still experimenting with all the features and apps that are available. I already had Amazon Prime membership and the activation of the tv was easy using the smart tv Amazon app. I was watching movies in no time. The quality of the picture is great and you can easily adjust it to your liking using the tv menu button.
Over the last few years we have upgraded our old CRT televisions. The first was a Vizio 24 inch the next was this Vizio 43 inch. Both have excellent picture quality both have excellent features, and so far both have been problem free. I am sticking with Vizio.
I only bought this TV about a week ago and I got to tell you it gets a fantastic picture, easy setup and even the sound isn't bad for a flat screen TV. This is the only fault I found, in the settings under reset and administer there is an option for data collection. It didn't tell me this in the book I happened to stumble on it. It automatically comes turned on and you can go in and turn it off. Other than that awesome television!
43 inch, actually measures 38.75 by 22, diagonal is 44 for a 43" rating. The picture is sharp and clear, the sound is fine for a small space, just push it up for larger or noisy areas. We are OTA so having amazon, Netflix, iHeart, etc. is nice. I have it plugged via cat directly to my modem but it does have wireless . I mounted it on a cabinet door so I could keep our dvd behind it with our movies. All in all extremely pleased. I have a vizio in the bedroom and the monitor to my computer is also a vizio so I am very pleased with this brand.
Great TV all the way around. I'm pretty much a plain-vanilla guy, so I don't need all the bells and whistles—I don't do Netflix and what have you, and I don't use a browser on my TV; I'm not even sure if it does that, but I don't care. The pictures is nice, very nice, but it doesn't have that real, crisp HD look, which, for me, is fine, because I don't like that (reminds me of what I didn't like about CDs when they first came out...too tinnie sounding. Anyway, I'm pleased, and for the price, it can't be beat.
This is a great TV for the money. I especially like having 3 HDMI outlets so I don't have to "share" an outlet with 2 things. Only gripe I have is that on some HD channels the picture seems somewhat, "cartoonish", if you get what I mean. Otherwise, I have no complaints at all.
I currently have the same TV but in a 40" which I put in another room for Netflix. I love the 43" for the living room. It's light and easy to operate. I do recommend that if you do purchase it; buy it online; I tried to buy in a store and it was a nightmare! Don't be intimidated by the price; it says $328 but it rings up $279. Great deal for a great TV!
i like the TV it's not great but it works for what i use it for it's got nice picture and decent audio not the best but it works if you're a gamer i really recommend it with 3 hdmi ports and full 1080P my WiiU and PS4 look great on it and it looks real nice on my wall
