VIZIO 43" Class SmartCast D-Series FHD (1080P) Smart Full-Array LED TV (D43f-F1)

I bought this tv a couple of weeks ago, and it is a huge improvement from my Samsung tv that this tv replaced. The size is perfect for me, and it's so easy to watch Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube on this tv. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I HAVE A PRIOR VIZIO 32 INCH. LOVE THE TV. BOUGHT A 43 INCH AND I BROKE IT. CALLED VIZIO FOR ASSISTANCE. THEY SENT ME A REPLACEMENT AND IT HAD A CRACKED SCREEN. HAD TO RETURN IT...STILL WAITING ON DIRECTIONS TO RECEIVE A REPLACEMENT. STILL LOVE VIZIO......NANCY D.

I bought this for my husband for Father's day and he loves it. He did not download the chrome cast app since we have netflix on our cable box but he loves the TV. He picture snd sound is great and I love that you don't hear the tv click on and off. This is the 2nd vizio we have bought and I couldn't be happier with our choice.

I purchased this TV about a month ago and I'm still finding awesome features that it can do. My favorite feature is that I can stream Rifftrax from my Chomebook and my wife and I can pause the playback and adjust the volume using our Android phones. Very versatile TV. I had some trouble with the TV loosing the Internet connect daily after turning on in the evenings. I found that changing the channel and channel width from 40 to 20 on my WiFi router and changing the TV from DHCP to Manual network fixed it. I also found a review for color calibration settings and applied those settings and manual adjustments. The colors and crispness of the display are impressive.

I have bought six TV's ranging in size from 60” to 32” Vizio's over the years. I've on had one actually breakdown and that was my first one with I owned for over 10 years. Since then I have bought Vizio. They are excellent quality for the price and have all the latest features. Very easy to set up. Two of the ones I've bought I have given away and replaced them with new larger ones. I just purchased the 32” one for my Grandkids Playroom. It still had a TV with a Tube in it, so I got the new one so they could watch Netflix and other things in there Playroom. I am very pleased with all my purchases from Vizio.

I had trouble with my old 24" monitor. I have already acquired 2 Vizio monitors(smart TVs) which I use with my computer and to view UTube videos, etc. So I ordered a 24" Vizio. After I ordered the Vizio, I found out the other monitor was not defunct. But I will not now part with my Vizio, I love it. All Vizio products that I have bought have been excellent and fulfilled all my expectations.

Great TV in that it has ethernet connection. It lacks apps and expects you to use a smartphone to cast apps. Really? Not value added for me -- I've got enough going on with my phone to deal with a tv. Also -- it's got some issues with the remote control -- have to really point at the right place for it to work. It's horrible. Also have some issues with it keeping the ethernet connection -- get the message "waiting for smartcast to start" but it never does. Have to reconnect and go through menus to disable and re-enable the connection. Also, not an option for using Wireless or Ethernet.

I like the image quality. The sound is a bit off. What I don't like is the lack of customization in the software. I want to control what it looks like when I turn on the computer. I don't want a bunch of random movie and television show posters shown, as they may be indecent and I have children in the home. I also don't like how the shortcuts on the remote don't include Amazon, and I want a YouTube app so I don't have to connect my iPad to the TV to watch YouTube.

I bought this TV directly from Vizio as I have 4 sets in my home. This was a disappointment as I could not get this television to find my regular cable channels at all. Only Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc. I put it in a relatively unused bedroom, swapped it out for the 32" Visio and "voila" this one found channels, I didn't know I had. I was going to send one to my granddaughter, but decided against it. The directions were not very helpful either.

I thought that this deal was to good to be true so I went to the store to buy it, and i was told that it was a glitch. this is the second time this has happened to me with a TV. Wal-Mart .com needs to get this fixed I was told that they have had multiple people come in looking for this TV.
