I have a Vizio , but its only 32" and its 10 years old now. I wanted to watch Netflix and Amazon, on a bigger screen, than my laptop, so I looked into this Rollback from Walmart. I read the reviews and this seems like the TV for me. The price was right and I needed a smart TV. The picture is so clear on this TV. Awesome picture. I purchased the Vizio 38" Sound bar for the total surround sound effect. I am very happy with these purchases! Thank you Walmart for great pricing and Rollbacks!!
This TV provides a great picture quality, the installation set up was super easy and allows to starting enjoying the TV right away. I had been comparing prices for similar TVS and found Vizio to have the best price for all the features I was looking for plus the added bonus of the smart TV feature. This is my fourth Vizio TV and I would highly recommend this TV but the entire brand.
This has been a great TV so far (1 month). The only things I wish were different are: more room for longer HDMI plugs (Chromecast), on/off/channel buttons without having to find the remote. It was easy to set up, and has had better digital channel reception than the old Vizio we had.
I was reluctant to buy this TV, but now I am very impressed with the TV picture quality. It is really priceworthy and no regrets at all. It is as good as any of the renown brand names like sony, samsung, philips etc. It connects easily to WiFi and set up was not complicated. Just happy with it:-)
This is a good TV. It is not as sharply focused as some other, more expensive, TVs and the intensity of colors seems less as well. For the money, however, this Visio is a good value. After a couple of weeks, it's performance is very satisfactory both at night as well as during daylight hours.
I love the TV, it has a great picture my only issue is the remote. It has very small buttons which have very little definition, in the evening when lighting is low it is difficult to tell one button from the other without turning the lights up or on.
Picture quality is ok. Sounds is ok. The smart TV part runs a little slow and freezes sometimes and have to turn the TV off and on for it to work. I spent about 45 min trying to get the HBO Go app and the conclusion is, You can't download apps like HBO go or ESPN. It seems like you are stuck with the pre determined apps they choose.
I had this in my cart and purchased, liked certain features such as connectivity, sound . But more I read about VIZIO reliability (CR says fair) and saw all the 'refurbished' units, I was skeptical. If refurbished to resell them, there must have been some problems! Then saw what others including The Club was offering, this is way overpriced. You can now get 4K and smart TVs with better apps like Roku for around the $400 price point. To say this is a rollback from $478...the price hasn't changed in 8 months. In conclusion, this isn't a Samsung, LG or Sony and some of those are being offered by Walmart at similar price points. Ultimately we returned, got a Samsung at walmart.com for less than $400. I would not recommend this as a good value.
Set-up was not difficult. Initial picture was very good. Two weeks later on the screen, in translucent pink hues, distortion that resembled a car tire track in snow. This went horizontally across the screen and is evident everyday now. Not every scene has the mark across it, but everyday it's there.
I planned this purchase out to last detail. I didn't want to be out on Thanksgiving/Black Friday buying a large screen TV. This was my first large screen TV purchase and I was very excited. I saw that Walmart had this TV in store but I knew I couldn't lift or carry it by myself. I placed the online order even got the additional warranty. It was scheduled to be delivered on my day off. Everything was perfect. The ups delivered and carried it up my stairs. The box was in perfect condition. The next day with the help of a friend we set up the tv, no picture only sound. Talk about disappointed. The screen once you turned it on looked like marble, weird. I called Walmart.com and I was told to take the tv into Walmart for a even exchange. She even found out what store had the tv in Stock. She set up the return. I even called to the store to make sure and they said they had it. Get to the store only to find out customer service closed at 4 pm. They weren't taking any returns. Now I'm upset and disappointed. I had no other day that I would have help to carry this TV. Finally I talked to another manager and she did the return ( thankful for that). Went to electronics told them what tv I wanted and in the craziness of black Friday starting within an hour the sales guy got me a 43" instead of a 48". I didn't notice until I got back home. I'm sad that I don't have the 48" tv, it really is a big difference and with the 43" I've noticed twice the tv shut off on its own and I don't have a timer set up. I don't have a way to return this tv on my own because I can't carry it. This is my 3rd Vizio purchase and I never had any problems with the previous two so yes I'm disappointed with this purchase.
