This product is great. However, when I received the product, somehow oil was on and inside the box. I immediately thought my purchase was damaged. After further investigation it, fortunately was not. However, the delivery company needs to be more aware of what's happening to the packages they are carrying.
I had a previous4K Ultra M-Series Vizio TV. Was very happy with it! Bought this through Black Friday sales. I am amazed how clear it looks! XBOX ONE X games look amazing! Even the switch looks amazing! All the technology this TV has works! Just got tweak and adjust settings and your good to go!
I just got this TV as part of the pre “black Friday” deal and I’m satisfied; I’m happy with it! Great size, colors and quality is beyond expectations considering that you pay $298 plus tax.. I don’t know why haters complain about this tv I don’t have any problem! Finally I was able to get a good deal from BF before people sweep all TVs out
This is a great TV for the price. Very easy setup. This is my first smart TV so Im anxious to see what more it does And if I can lower the cost of my cable
Out of the box picture preset selections are to be desired. Calibrated Dark mode with minor tweaks and this tv is awesome. No power issues as others have reported. The black Friday price is a steal. Totally happy with my decision on this model. This is a Quantum color not dot tv. Know what your getting prior. No regrets on purchase, 2020 model, hdmi 2.1 .
If your set on a specific budget or debating buying a vizio V series, I would pick this M506-h9 over any v series. I upgraded from a v series to this, and it was very similar in terms of dimensions, menu setup, and options. If you are looking for a premium picture for a reasonable price, and are willing to spend a bit more to make sure you meet the objective, skip this and go for one of the newer M series. Ideally you would want the Q8 engine, but the Q7 is good too.
Box was open when we got it, box had some hole pokes. Tv seems ok, thankfully! I'm not sure if I'm just not used to the 4k picture or we need a 4k HDMI cord. I don't like that when the WiFi acts up the Tv, even when watching a movie on our TiVo, goes blank and I have to switch the input off Cable box and back again.
I had a 2017 Samsung 4k model before I bought the Vizio and the only improvement was the image quality, and not by much. The sound sucks, you can't personalize the home screen, settings are somewhat limited. Last of all navigating a connected USB device is terrible and extremely outdated, think of early PC days.
The Tv looks nice, has a great picture. The UI is absolutely terrible. Clicking on Netflix or YouTube can take minutes if there isn’t a button on the actual remote for it. Makes the smart feature on the TV unusable. Very sad to see. If you’re looking for a tv to just be a TV, this has a nice picture. If you’re looking to use it for more than a pretty screen, this isn’t the TV for you.
This is the second of these we've ordered with the exact same problem. Same TV.. same problem. We sent the first one back and had to wait on this one to arrive. Now it has almost the identical issue as the first one did. Very unhappy. Apparently this is a quality control factory issue with Vizio and they have no clue. But we are truly upset. Problem is...omg..I dont want to have to ship yet ANOTHER TV back in the mail. I have to pack it back up, print a label, drive it to the post office, and carry in this hugely heavy box. So to the problem. It has a warp on the right side of the screen toward the center. The first one actually had the mold of the TV in that spot warped AND the LCD screen warped slightly. With this one the frame is absolutely perfect but after we got it completely set up, all of the HDMI cables plugged in, cords hooked up, surround sound hooked up, only then did I realize that in the same spot when you turned it on there was a slight warp internally in the picture of the LCD screen. Right in that same spot. Now the only saving grace is you can only see it when the picture is showing something completely dark and you are sitting off to the side of the TV. If you are sitting directly in front of the TV you cannot see it at all. I just cannot decide if I want to return a second television because ImIf you are sitting directly in front of the TV you cannot see it at all. I just cannot decide if I want to return a second television because Im so frustrated.
