VIZIO 50" Class 4K UHD LED SmartCast Smart TV HDR D50x-G9

By far the best tv I've ever owned. I usually never buy expensive electronics and opt for the cheapest option, and I almost did when looking up 4K TVs but I ended up spending an extra $80 for this and couldn't be happier. The picture is crystal clean when watching HD and HDR shows and movies and it looks like real life. You see details that you've never seen before while watching the same show, it's incredible. The sound I quality I think is pretty bad. It says it has built in surround sound but it sounds so low and lifeless, but I have a sound bar I use anyways to it's not much of an issue for me. My favorite thing about this tv besides the picture is Pluto tv. I don't have cable, so having live streaming tv built into the tv for free is so nice. There's no real premium channels like cbs, fox, amc, and stuff, but I have found a bunch that are good. Some channels show one show 24/7 like River Monsters Channel, Gordon Ramsey Channel, Forensic Files Channel, but there's also a ton of others that anyone will love. One thing I was really confused about before buying was the smart features of the tv. Since it has Chromecast built in I thought that would be the only way you could watch Netflix and Hulu and such, by using the app on your phone, but luckily many apps are preinstalled to the TV, like Netflix, Hulu, Prime, YouTube, Vudu, iHeartRadio, and they work flawlessly. As soon as I hit the Netflix button on the remote it pops up preloaded on the screen. I have used Chromecast twice to stream apps from my iPad to the tv and it worked without issue. It's a little inconvenient for me personally, having to go to my iPad if I want to change an episode, or swap an app, so I ended up buying the 4K Fire Stick. Overall for the price this TV is an absolute gem. Personally I would recommend investing in a sound bar, just to maximize your tv investment. Mine was only $50 and it's incredible.

very light and easy to mount by myself i am 5 foot five 160 ls. It has a built in roku and you can control it with google assistant. I can say hey google turn on t.v. or play movie reviews on youtube and it works, very easy to set up and control with the vivio app the remote control is very delecate and comes apart whenever it gets thrown by my toddler, tape it together at the edges with electrical tape and problem solved.

Purchased this as a gift and was very well received. Have purchased a number of Vizio tvs over the years for myself and various family members. Is the only brand we will purchase. Great features and clear sharp pictures. Very reasonable prices and have converted family and friends who will also now only purchase Vizio tvs.

Love it but I have been using an LG smart TV and was very disappointed to find out Visio TVs dont allow web browsing. I wish this had been info in the description. I would have chosen an LG. Otherwise it appears to be a very good TV thus far.

Love the tv ..love Video only complaint is you need to turn the sound way down when turning off the tv or when the tv is turned on the next time the sound crackles ...also if you turn tv off ,then try to turn it back on within a minute ,it keeps turning itself back off . I do like how it does updates .

It's not exactly what I expected. I had a 50 inch Vizio ultra HD prior to this Vizio HD. The picture is not quite as sharp as I had hoped for and every time you turn the TV on you hear a loud crackling popping sound

Sharp image but when using hdr for gaming on an xbox one x or ps4 pro in an hdr game you'll notice theres some type of global dimming going on and I TV cant decide whether it wants to be bright or dark and constantly jumps which wouldn't be a big deal with some TV's that make it look smoother but here you turn and it just jumps. My backlight control, and powersaving modes are all off but no matter what I do I cant fix what is just a flaw with the TV. An option to be toggled would be so nice

DO NOT BUY - my tv crapped out for the power board within a year. This piece of garbage was already broken the first time I bought it and then the replacement had power issues. Not even to mention the Vizio customer support could not offer me any services. This is a bad company. Use your money wisely and invest in products that last or have good service such as Lg or Samsung

Be aware this tv wont last long after a while it will get reverse colouring then you have to spend more to fix the panel then it is to just buy one over again once warranty is up your messed up with nothing i was upset at my child thinking he did did something just to find out its just the tv itself
