Vizio 50 Full-array Led Hd Smart Tv

We bought three of these to use as product displays at trade shows and then give them away as door prize raffle items at the end of the conferences. We were very happy with the product and they were a great value. Name brand, good picture 50" LED smart TV for $398. What's not to love?

GREAT 50" TV for under $400! Smart features allow wireless internet access. Optical audio output hooks up to soundbar. Picture is crystal clear, all hook ups are self explanatory and easy. Mine is in a built in entertainment center, but wall mount looks easy as well and input/outputs are oriented to allow flush mount if desired. Purchased online and picked up in store, couldn't have been easier. I would DEFINATELY recommend this TV to anyone looking for a high performance TV at a bargain TV price !

I have had TV for about a month now. TV was as expected. Light and easy to carry. Pictures are clear. USB HDMI ports adequate. I would recommend product. Remote has a Netfilx button which takes you straight to Netflix. I wish it had another one for Youtube.

Easy to hook up, intuitive. Spectacular picture. Added a Vizio 38 inch sound bar to make up for thin sound. Really a nice package for around $500. This is our second Vizio TV and they both deliver a beautiful picture. Strongly recommend 1080p and 120Hz. 720p and 60Hz are much cheaper....but deliver so much less quality.

Great TV, this is my second Vizio and have always been satisfied. Was delivered quickly and it looks great. 3 HDMI inputs, built in wireless, sound is better than previous models. Very happy. The reasons it didn't get five stars: Built in app selection is limited, no HBOgo for instance or support for SlingTv. Apps also take a long time to load and are slow to navigate through compared to a Roku or Xbox. That said it's nice to have them at all and at this price it's all bonus. The color depth also isn't amazing, fiddling with the picture presets helps, I find "calibrated" to be the best setting but if you don't adjust this setting, streaming video quality doesn't look great, but adjusting the settings gets you 90% there. All in all very happy with the tv, criticisms are minor. Would purchase again and recommend to a friend.

This is my 4th VIZIO all four of which are still in operation with the oldest being more than five years old. During the first week of operation this one had to be reset due failure to respond to commands from the remote for internet operation. I contacted VIZIO customer support for assistance and promptly had the unit back on line after doing a reset. (Turning the unit off and holding down the power button for 20 or so seconds.) Since then operation has been good and use, daily for about a month. Good sharp picture and color. I have it in a room that is 20 X 30 feet and am using it to drive my old pioneer sound receiver with Bose speakers for movies and music. Sound is OK for normal TV viewing but would recommend a sound bar or other system if superior sound is desired. Very nice product for the price and would be a five star if sound was superior. As a plus, using customer support was quick and easy once we got connected.

I have 3 Vizio's at home and they work great. Two of them are of course HD 60Hz and the third one HD 120Hz. I needed one for the living room because an LG stopped working. So, when I saw this Vizio for $398 I didn't hesitate to buy it, specially when the descriptions are 1080p 120 Hz. To my opinion it 's a disappointment! I'm not a high tech guy but my first two Vizio's that are 5 years old are 60Hz and the resolution looks much better compare to this 120Hz TV. Why? the third Vizio I got it's a 120Hz and you can see the resolution difference, which I can't see with this one. The reason I put it as no recommendation is because of the difference I see with the resolution compare to the other three Vizio's TV, but if you're looking for a flat cheap TV, then YES it if should be OK. Beside's , to me as of now Vizio makes good lasting TV's. No issues with my previous three, hope the same for this one!

I bought this TV on 12/31/16. To date I have not been able to watch Netflix or Amazon Video on it. Netflix will play for maybe 5 seconds before it stops, Amazon selections won't even load, all I get is a black screen after hitting play. I thought my wifi signal was too weak since the tv is in my basement so I bought a signal booster that brought it up to 5 bars and is running 4x faster, but it made no difference. I've been in contact with Vizio customer support, but their suggestion didn't work either. They asked for the serial number 3 days ago, but I haven't heard from them since. Everything works through my blu ray player so the problem is with the tv. At this point I am disappointed in this tv and wouldn't recommend it.

I had problems with screen freezing up and it would not switch to whatever resolution was required when changing channels. Direct TV said it wasn't their problem and Visio said it wasn't theirs. Took it back to store and swapped for an LG tv, problem gone!!

I guess the old adage "you get what you pay for" is true. Had to return after 3 weeks and a combined 6 calls to Vizio customer service and Xfinity. Problems with "Resolution not supported" message on screen. Customer Service Rep at Vizio said this was something they see daily and is always a cable provider issue however, Comcast (2 reps I spoke to) had never experienced such an issue. Comcast sent out a tech, replaced cable box (as Vizio said this was most likely the issue). We replaced HDMI cable ($180). Still same problem. Vizio's answer- "plug in a DVD player or game system". Neither did we have. Vizio customer service was condescending and rude when we called them the third time to discuss returning. My advice would be to spend the extra money on a tried and true brand and avoid these issues. It is what we ended up doing and all is working fine.
